What is your driving force in life? What do you desire to see accomplished in life?
Jeroboam II followed in the same ways as Jeroboam I. Though Israel grew back to power and was prosperous as a nation under his reign, Scripture says little about his life. There were a lot of accomplishments (humanly speaking) during this time, but that's not highlighted. He left Israel in better shape physically than any other, but inside, they were morally rotten. Don't be a Jeroboam II, seeking just to do great things. Make your life count for the Lord and live for His glory.
