You see too many people are stranded along the road to victory. and anybody who's really going to live for Jesus, your going to see them along the sides of the road, they're people that started out cruising along the road of faith and somewhere along the line they ran out of gas. You see them lining the side of the road. In traveling evangelism we see them everywhere. They had a passion, they had a vision, they had a hunger, but they got stranded on the road to victory. Most of them ran out of gas because they forgot where the gas station was. and many just got caught up in the cares of this world. and they justify their divided loyalties by calling these worldly cares “responsibilities”.
“I'd really be serving Jesus and I'd really be doing this or that but I have this responsibility.....” Many times they are just cares of this world. Your responsibilities won't keep you from serving Jesus with all you have.
It's never too late to get back in the race….. The road to victory is lined with those who settled for less....Those who got their eyes off of the Lord and onto themselves.
There's a tremendous temptation to join them and just live in a cardboard shack along the side of that road instead of the mansion that Jesus desires for our spiritual lives.
