Some people are worried about how they will die. We must be more concerned about how we will live. Jesus says, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it" (Mark 8:34-35). When we put our faith fully in Jesus, we die to sin and self-centeredness as a way of life and rise with Him to walk in newness of life in His resurrection power. Self-indulgence is misery. The only good life is new life in Christ!
