SERMONAUDIO TIP
Improved Online Donation Support for Broadcasters!
Attention all broadcasters!

We've now dramatically improved our support for Online Donations for all broadcasters! In addition to PayPal, it's now easier than ever to accept credit card (or debit card) donations conveniently and securely -- on the web and via mobile!

Electronic donations are important especially when trying to send financial support to foreign ministries or receiving support from international listeners. Mailing a check can prove to be prohibitive and slow.

Stripe. For credit and debit cards, simply set up an account with Stripe, log in to the Members Only Area and under the DONATE tab link your SermonAudio account to your Stripe account with a single click!

PayPal. To setup donations with PayPal, simply set up an account with PayPal, log in to the Members Only Area and under the DONATE tab specify your PayPal account ID in the specified form.

Once you do this, the Donation button will appear on your homepage and on all of your sermon and content pages automatically! Church Apps have also been updated and all donation interfaces accessed on phones or tablets are extremely mobile-friendly!

Third-party services that provide this level of credit card integration normally incur an additional monthly charge, but all broadcasters on SermonAudio automatically enjoy online donation support!

Take a look at the donation window on a real broadcaster!

Enjoy!

I think this is great news. There are a couple of broadcasters that the Lord is moving me to support. They've been challenging to me personally, but a blessing. I'm grateful for this feature and to God for SermonAudio!

here is a list of funds you can create to help the poor flock in daily tribulations ...
a fund for when you get infested with fleas or bedbugs of lice or scabies ... make sure there is enough people to help with fumigation and laundry duty ... a fund for when the crack heads next door use the one pot method for manufacture and release a giant toxic chemical cloud that hits your apartment ... make sure there is enough to put people up at a motel while you get volunteers to wash the house inside and out ... a fund for when the landlord sells the house and you have to move, we have had to move 14 times in 35 years ... a fund to fight said landlord in court to get your deposit back from fraudulent charges ... in 14 moves we actually got our deposit back once from a christian landlord , a fund for when the police swat you because the kids were smoking pot in school and the police liaison officer is positive you have as much dope at your house as scarface ...
im reminded of a movie line from aladdin ...
no one will miss you except your fleas .. lol

im 51 and have not a single wrinkle and lurking at my sisters facebook i noticed my mom who disowned me is 75 and has not a single one either ... so i got that going for me ...

I totally agree that a laborer is worth his wage, but understand how so many misuse and misappropriate. I never thought anything wrong with pastors asking for funds for this or that, or reminding people to tithe. I think there are too many who need reminders to support their home church, etc. There are mortgages, wages to be paid, supplies needed, funds needed for outreach, ministries, and missionaries, funds needed to help other less fortunate members, and the list goes on.
For a lonnnggg time my Church firmly asked members to use the charitable funds run by the Synod for all donations. It was quite a conflict for us, as employers want to do the same through their 'partnership' campaigns. I imagine that makes a smaller pie available for online ministries to attract individual donors.
But that's not the point I want to make. My point is that Churches and businesses often support charities for reasons other than charity. The very fact that organizations want control over the distribution of funds indicates that there are noncharitable sociopolitical motivations behind the giving and even strings attached

When pastors ask for money , I think many don't realize how much is needed for what and how that money helps others and furthers the gospel. Sure, there are the unscrupulous, but they'll be held accountable to God.

im tired of hearing pastors ask for money and then talk about their vacations and fancy hobbies like golfing ...
why ask for a tithe of a people that cant afford to see a doctor or buy eyeglasses, are renters, have junkyard cars that are money pits that if they die on them there is no way to get to their slave jobs?
this is not what the early churches did, we never saw the apostle paul going on vacation whilst others toiled and supported him, we don't ever see him eating steak when the "underlings" eat plain buttered noodles and nothing else, we never see paul wearing suits when the "underlings" wear old stained clothes bought from the salvation army
i love my poverty and think all pastors should be impoverished likewise and use the money to actually help the flock
what most pastors live on or the sacrifices they make for their ministry. Nor do you understand the purpose of giving.

Why do christians have to ask for money all the time? It just strikes me strange why money and christians are aways, well almost always interwoven.

Brother US, there sure is a lot of shilling today. Hope you and yours are well. There will come a time when they do not allow any kind of expression of Christ here, but we know the end of the story. Christ is King and Judgment Day comes to all. Better momentary affliction and eternal life with a rested conscience than the wide road.

SA, thanks for your continued work!

Terry unless you are being supported by someone else you understand that the things you enjoy like a house, food, electrity, etc. are something for which you pay to enjoy its benefits. It cost to run this site and it cost broadcasters to put out content. Maybe the Lord is trying to encourage you to stop freeloading here and to support the work of God here. You have not seen predominantly featured here appeals for funds. A laborer is worthy of his hire and those who minister should be supported by those to whom they minister.

Why do christians have to ask for money all the time?
Maybe I just overlooked those verses in the Bible where Jesus told them to go out and raise money to help people, and maybe its a good idea, I mean why go out and show the love of Christ and help my neighbors when I can just sit at home seeking a just cause to spend money on. Look what fund raising does to so called christian tv, not to mention what the love of money can do, even if its for, good works. It just strikes me strange why money and christians are aways, well almost always interwoven.

To make it easy for me to send a gift if I hear of a situation where help is needed, or, if my heart is touched by a sermon and I want to give to a specific ministry. Or even to pay my tithe. It's easy, it's quietly done.

This is a nice feature.
