Islamic Extremist Impose Reign of Terror on Iraq

Police cars have been repainted to say “Islamic police.” Women are forbidden from wearing bright colors and prints. The homes of Shiites and others have signs stating they are property of the Islamic State. And everyone walks in fear amid a new reign of terror.

That’s what life is like in Mosul, Tikrit and other cities in northern and western Iraq under the control of Islamic extremists after their lightning-fast military campaign that overwhelmed the Iraqi army in June.

The new normal for these residents means daily decrees about attire and raids to root out religious minorities in a campaign to impose strict Islamic rule in cities that tolerated multiple religions for centuries. ...

Penny, you must think Catholics are Christian? http://www.johnankerberg.org/Articles/roman-catholicism/RC1105W3.htm (Should Roman Catholicism really be classified as a Christian religion? -- No.) These nominal Christians may say, "Lord, lord," but as Christ Himself pointed out, this doesn't make them Christian. They have much in common with Catholicism, Catholicism has a lot in common with Islam, http://www.jashow.org/Articles/roman-catholicism/RC1101W2.htm (Understanding Islam and Roman Catholicism).

Why do I argue about the Rapture, will either this article, http://www.raptureready.com/featured/ice/AShortHistoryOfDispensationalism.html (A Short History Of Dispensationalism).

Believing in the Rapture, etc., makes one a more knowledgeable Christian, but it's the What are the “five solas,” and what do they mean?, which are universal, and repentance which makes a person a Christian,----not sacerdotalism.

let me measure this in my mind....

one group loses their live for their confession of Christ, refusing to speak against their testimony.

the other professes that they will not suffer and that Jesus will rapture them out of the consequences of their own sin. their own people financing the jihadists.

I'm actually more concerned about the second group in the spiritual sense, and even the physical, like sitting ducks, aligned with the ones who have taken out the eastern Christians with the borders wide open in their own land.

No brothers and sisters are suffering, unless there are Protestants there, but fellow human beings are and this does concern me Penny.

penny, it is of much interest if not more for the Catholic countries to be worked up about this question than America. Notice that thewant action from some Western countries. Now it seems to me that France and Italy are more Catholic then the US is. Australia is offering some humanitarian aidofcourse arm Anglican/Catholic country.http://m.krvn.com/news-world.php?more=34958893 (Officials: ISIS Beating Iraqis and Kurds As One Lacks 'Heart' and the Other Ammo) and http://m.krvn.com/news-world.php?more=34957801 (Pope Francis Calls on World Leaders to Help Christians in Iraq).

there are other people who are suffering besides the nominal Christians. it is a matter of freedom of religion

if I was a rapturist I'd be on my knees begging GOd to hold it off, I'm rather of the persuasion that American CHristians are going get a taste of their own medicine.

Jesus the magic carpet God that flies the middle class American out of trouble after a lifetime of apathy and financing untold miseries, while the "nominal" are decapitated for refusing to testify against Christ, as a result of the financing.

Can we say "ethnocentric"?

Gone are the days when our countries used to send missionaries to the blind and ignorant countries of darkness.

Now Satan's muslim religion spreads like a disease through these uncivilised nations.

And western nations help them with the blind ignorance of Liberalism in governments and the churches of our nations.

With the demise of church worldwide we observe all types of darkness being manifest in the nations.
The darkness of Muslim ideology in the east.
The darkness of Liberal ignorance in the west.

John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

I saw him on fox news the night of his speech to the nation. He walked in briskly( like he really didn't want to bothered with it all) spoke very curtly, no empathy that these christians are being slaughtered, said his short little speech, no wods of comfort to those who are suffering. He agreed to send food but I guess at least they will have a full stomach when they are beheaded. That's his idea of help and a few bombs dropped here and there? He then said, no ground troops will be sent in, we can't police or help everybody fight their wars. No, but he could have left some in Iraq to keep down these crazies that are led by satan who hates christians and are now looking to destroy America or at least that was on a film clip that some were boasting while being filmed. This is a tricky, different war we are fighting and they are geitting more powerful and less controlled than ever. We better believe they can come over here and do damage

Perhaps I shouldnt call his supporters mindless, I apologize. However, I am sure they will not mind that even though he railed against Bush for fighting a "dumb war" in Iraq, and bragged about getting us out of there, he is now basically doing the same thing.
