Gov't Report: Taxes Will Go Up, Especially for the Poor
Americans at all income levels will be paying more in taxes under current policies, according to this month's long-term budget outlook report by the Congressional Budget Office, with the working poor seeing a greater increase in income taxes.

Even if tax rates are unchanged, Americans will be paying more in taxes due, in part, to how tax policies are structured in relation to inflation and wage growth, according to the report, and these higher payments will be a disincentive to work and save.

"Thus, in the long run, people throughout the income distribution would pay a larger share of their income in taxes than people at the same points in the distribution pay today, and many taxpayers would face diminished incentives to work and save," the report states. ...

The biggest joke of all is that you can make work and responsibility an option instead of a duty and have a successful society....when those who work and contribute receive no more than those who don't the circling of the drain begins for everyone....this will happen because of the increasing demands of those who feel they are entitled to everything that those who work and produce have and will use their vote to get it.

The Buffet Rule is dumb:

"The Buffett Rule is part of a tax plan proposed by President Barack Obama in 2011.[1] The tax plan would apply a minimum tax rate of 30 percent on individuals making more than a million dollars a year.[2][3] According to a White House official, the new tax rate would directly affect 0.3 percent of taxpayers.[1]"

Explain, Jim, how more money for govt will create non-government employment? As you know, the only thing an additional $10 in tax revenue does, is to encourage tax and spend Democrats and pathetic Democrat wannabes in the GOP, to spend $15 in new "investments".

Jim, Independents like yourself help the Democrats achieve bigger government and more taxation. So when you declare your consistent point of hate for the Republicans - perhaps what it really indicates is your disguised Democrat heart!!

The socialist theme in the Democrat party policy will always want bigger and bigger government. That means the people must pay more and more for it.

Anyone still believe the compassionate liberal lie,the purpose of this system is to create poverty and dependence,to take anyone who is working and self supporting and reduce them to a government dependent.

Those who chose to work are constantly harassed with drug testing while bums on the dole are not required to be tested and successfully fight it everytime its suggested.

In my line of work government is constantly changing the rules requiring more and more licensing and permits, inspections, threats of of shut down for non compliance of idiotic stupidy.

This administration is doing everything it can to destroy work.
