Candace Cameron-Bure Slams Facebook Critics Of Her Christian Views

"[L]ately, as my FB page has been growing rapidly with new 'likes,' it’s becoming a sensitive issue for me to post because of the dread in my heart knowing I am going to get discouraging comments," she wrote, later adding: "[A]ll I see is a bunch of religious people throwing around bible verses attacking each other and bunch of non-religous [sic] people wondering why in the world they would ever want to be a part of this group?!"

She went on to say that she won't make her Facebook page -- which has more than 500,000 likes -- all about religion.

I also share with you what is most precious in my life; my family! My Facebook Page is not a Christian blog, it’s not a Jesus FB page and it’s not a place I’m going to flood with constant scriptural photos or only Christian articles. It doesn’t mean that because I don’t do those things, that Jesus isn’t the love of my life. We all have our own ...

good comment Pastor John. harsh but true. hopefully someone will come out of the whore and confess their sins.

Pastor B wrote:
Right on GS. "Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth."
Now we also know that there are all kinds of miraculous-answered-prayer-boasting worshippers of God who think they are doing his will who call themselves some sort of Christian. Yet, of the thousands of so-called miracles that are being boasted daily amongst these people, I have no doubt that even the few SA posters would say that said miracles were not of God based on their beliefs and lifestyle.
As for you Lurker, your Pastor John Beachy does not fit the definition of a troll: "to lure other Internet users into sending responses to carefully designed incorrect statements" Encarta ® World English Dictionary
John Beachy offers truth and light which is rejected and despised by those who live in darkness, those who loveth murder and violence in the name of Jesus. Like you Lurker, you heathen soldier of antichrist, ready and willing to kill anyone when ordered to do so.

Lurker, l agree and because God has worked in my own life with these type miracles to strengthen me also to face things that I too, needed to get me through some very difficult times. It strenghtens our faith also to hear how God worked in someone else's life and I am so thankful Christropher shared the whole incident with us and this in turn made us a part of it and to be blessed also.

Anne's comment reminded me of this passage of scripture:

John 9:1-3 KJV
1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

Difficult circumstances may be engineered by the Lord, that his glory may be revealed in due time. The gospel writers had no problem detailing the wonderful works of the Lord.

How will the Lord Jesus heal a man that is blind if there is no blind man to heal? Does not the Lord give sight and take away sight?

Also, we remember God causes it to both rain and the sun to shine on the righteous and unrighteous. Simply because the sun shines on someone does not imply that God has performed a miracle. Did He not say to the rich man, "'Son,’ Abraham said, ‘remember that during your life you received your good things, just as Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here, while you are in agony.'" (Luke 16:25)

However, as a Christian striving to live by faith, like Christopher, these events strengthen our faith, not hold us in condemnation for refusing to acknowledge God's work. Perspective and truth.

Completely agree Dolores and Lurker - great comments!

I can hardly believe how precious it is that people are praying for each other here on SermonAudio and even seeing miracles.

So many God bless each and everyone of you, we are so priviledged and honored to belong to the family of God with, and give you all the grace to ignore any distractions in this song or its style and let it speak His grace and encouragement to whatever you face or those you are lifting up in prayer.

I know when I asked prayer for our daughter, there came a time that day where I could literally feel the prayers of God's people for us AND I hope if you are in such a time God might grant you the same as well.

...so.called miracle....

There are several things that have happened to me in life that I have never told anyone, and I hesitate telling this for the same reason. That reason is that no matter what, it is very difficult to believe anything 100% unless it happens to you. When a story rerelated is 2nd hand, there is always that 1% in the back of a persons mind that keeps them from fully embracing it because it didn happen to them and I totally get that. I don relate several stories for this reason...because if someone can't believe fully such incredible, fantastic, spiritual events, then why bother sharing them. So I keep them to myself. This particular answer to prayer was so over the top incredible that I couldn't contain it. I knew there would be doubters, and I understand, but there is no mistake, no embellishment, no error on my end where I was wrong about the situation, monies owed, etc, etc. With God as my witness, I conveyed the events, verbatim, as they were and how they played out. Even the customer, who for the first time ever, rescheduled their Tues AM. I have nothing to gain by adding to or subtracting from this experience and related it just as it was and how God played it out. I think referring to it as a so called miracle is very interesting.coming from

Ok, what if this so-called miracle and answered prayer happened to a Catholic, Mormon, JW, Adventist, Muslim or any other unbeliever who prays? What do we make of such claims?

John 9:31 "Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth."

Proverbs 15:29 "The Lord is far from wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous."

Besides the fact that God doesnt hear the prayers of the lost (except for salvation), what if questions are completely arbitrary, and dont prove or disprove anything.

I do not believe anything good or bad that happens to a true Christian that God allows to come into their lives will be for naught. Reminds me we should be showing that same mercy and forgiveness to someone else that God brings to our mind. Whatever it might be that we need to show compassion.
I agree, Dolores.

God allowed this to come on Christopher for a reason and He took it away for a reason. At the very least this experience will strengthen Christopher's faith and love of God and may just be what he needs to carry him through his next trial.

I say this because of God's dealings in my own life which followed a similar pattern. Had He not strengthened me in a most powerful and real way I don't think I could have overcome the many obstacles which I've faced these past ten years.

Christopher, maybe this miracle was just given to you from the Lord, and that's enough. And maybe one day you will be able to share it.

Thanks Nat and Anne. All I have been ththinking about today. Really something. I was thinking about how incredibly stressed I was from Friday afternoon to just yesterday afternoon. I fantasized this outcome but never imagined it as an outcome. I expected to feel like I had been for months to come. I knkw it's easy for some to think in silence that there must be a catch, a mistake made and I never owed those years to begin with, etc, but as God is my witness, it all happened just as I said.

Man, I just can't stop breathing sighs of relief and thanking God that this is over. Four days of literally battling with myself not to be fearful, knowing that God was in control and His will would be done...and I mean battle! Barely ate, barely slept, high blood pressue, jittery and nervous, and all the while trying to act normal around my wife. Really difficult weekend and Monday, and on top of it, trying to work. Each day I would daydream about what an incredible relief it would be if I called and they said I didn't own anything. I "knew" this wasn't the case though and even had an account friends high end attorney contacting me this week to discuss my legal options. I never imagined, not even for a moment, that my fanciful daydream was exactly what God had in mind! I had it.it.my head that worst case scenario would be that I would have to pay the principle after maybe being forgiven the interest.after.months of.legal battles and town councils just to get that.

All I can say is, "WoW"!

Thank you all again! US...ha-ha. As a business owner, a tax due is usually based upon and only a fraction of what the assessment is. Besides not knowing I owed for 11yrs with major interest compounding, I realized I had filled out my 1st tangible form wrong. I listed possessions, property, and vehicles that had no part of my business. The form is many pages and I read carelessly. By law, they could never have corrected my initial mistakes which inflated my taxes due to that of a much larger company. $2581, and $3168, etc, are taxes based on assessments for those rich people...ha-ha, because that's huge when arrived at from a small fraction. Just wanted to mention it in case any business owners wondered why my assessed tax was so high.
Great thing to have friends like all of you. What's sad is that I couldn't share any of this with my wife, even the outcome because she wouldn't have saw it for what it was or really even cared about or believed the spiritual aspect. Thank you!
