Muslims 'warned in Fatwa not to live on Mars'
Muslims have been warned in a Fatwa not to go and live on Mars because it would pose "a real risk to life", according to a Dubai news organisation.

The General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowment (GAIAE) in the United Arab Emirates said that anyone making such a "hazardous trip" is likely to die for "no righteous reason".

They would therefore be liable to a "punishment similar to that of suicide in the Hereafter", the Khaleej Times reported.

Living on Mars would put them too far out of reach of their controllers on the home planet. If speculation were put forth about living on the moon, or Venus, Muslims would warned in a fatwa not to go and live there as well, and for the same reason.

I guess that means the Muslim clerics don't have a problem with the other planets. What's wrong with Mars? Charles Martel? By the way, I liked Christoper's post.

No, they can't, Mike of N.Y., well they could go to Mars, but death squads would be sent after them for violating a fatwa! Be happy they won't be going, considering the Inadequacy of Islam.

Get real, your post demonstrates that you are one of the scorners Chris was referring too.

Proverbs 15:12 "A scorner loveth not one that reproveth him, neither will he go unto the wise."

Reading not a special skill of yours?

Let me help. Read the following words from Christopher's original post:

.....Without them, everyone can talk, agree, and disagree in very civil manners as is being evidenced within several threads....

It is civility, void of rancor that Christopher was addressing.. AND THEN you came on the scene to spoil it.

I think we can safely put you in the second camp that Christopher spoke of:

There was a story recenly that was hushed pretty much as soon as it came out. The Muhammed is waiting for us on Mars Islamic sects secret lodge was raided moments before they took off on their rocket powered camels. The group members, wearing motorcycle helmets retrofitted with snorkels and freshly shaven heads to improve aerodynamics, was stopped abruptly when the secret service raided the billy goat barn that an estranged former member tipped them off to. Items removed from the rocket powered camels were seven crates of chickens, four beach umbrellas, two sheep, four cases of protein bars, a 30 pack of Bud Light, two astronomical maps, an autographed photo of Justin Bieber, a snow globe, suntan lotion, camel whips, and other misc personal effects.
The group members did not seem to comprehend the properties of deep space, nor the distance between pla5ntets. The group is currently being held in a psychiatric facility for observation pending indictment for the illegal possession of a snow globe, according to the Associated Press.

How are they planning on getting there anyway? No "muslim country", at this point, has a program that could launch humans into space. Unless Iran gets an ICBM fleet started too.

+1 !

We have been seeing an increasing number of amerocentric political items as well. Christianity is our concern, get His word spread, and the politics of all countries will be changed as contained hearts are changed.
Political systems do not redeem, but many serve to obfuscate the need for redemption, and responsibility to our fellow man and our Lord.
