A recently published Pew Research study finds that the percentage of Republicans who believe Darwin's theory of evolution is correct has dropped 11 percent in the last few years. The survey shows that in 2009, 54 percent of Republicans and nearly two-thirds of Democrats said "humans and other living things" evolved over time. But today the percentage of Republicans adhering to that belief has dropped significantly to 43 percent, while the number of Democrats has increased slightly to 67 percent.
To point out a point I made in my first message, Evolution and the Pope. Not that I consider the politicians in the GOP as Christian than I do those in Democratic one, I would point out, the alliance between the Romish Church and Republicans from end of the Civil War, (Read about former Secretary of State Seward in, The Perils of Popery ) has them dealing with the Devil all too often
