Homeschool Organization Joins Fight After Court Orders Children to Attend School for ‘Socialization’

A nationally-recognized homeschool organization has filed a friend of the court brief in support of a mother who was homeschooling her children until she was ordered by the court to send them to school to socialize.

Therese Cano of Florida has been in an ongoing child visitation battle with her husband, and during the process of arbitration, the court had appointed a psychologist and a guardian ad litem to oversee the matter.

During a recent hearing, the psychologist testified that the children, who were being homeschooled by their mother, were doing well academically. However, the guardian ad litem told the court that her “gut reaction” was that the children should be sent to public school where they could socialize with others. ...

A teenage male and your pants are pulled up ? you need socializing.

A teenage female and you are not and have never been pregnant due to sexual inactivity ? you need socializing.

A white kid and you don't accept blame for being white and priviledged? you need socializing.

A kid of either sex and you think Homosexuals are freaks ? you most definitely need socializing.

A kid with faith in anything but liberalism and mother Earth ? you need socializing.

There was a time when Christians practiced separation form the world and its ways, now many are hypersocial and dependent and seek the world and want to be a part of it foolishly thinking that it will not affect them.

Since the children are the property of the unbelievers who comprise the State, the false Christ judge has the right to force his children to attend religious gatherings called State schools.

Since there's a large homeschooling contingency at my church, Indian Hills Community Church, homeschooled children get to socialize in church with other homeschoolers as well. There is an active organization in Nebraska, Encouraging and supporting Christian families who educate their children at home. For some unknown reason our PBS network made a very good homeschooling video, NET: Home School Nebraska.

This family doesn't seem to following the Christian pattern, however, Instructions to Husbands, Fathers and Their Wives. So, this broken family has not strengthened their case by being broken.

Good article, by the way, John Y., Come Out Of The Catholic Church. It's sure no place for children! Espcially if one is God's child.

I am just curious if they have a one room school house on their property for the purposes of homeschooling? Homeschooling the children in a one room school house would be more appropriate then homeschooling them in the domicile.

It is no business of the county or the court if those children are not socializing with other children. I would have told those insane individuals to get lost.
