Claim: Unearthed JFK film shows 2nd gunman

A JFK assassination video held under wraps for 50 years that purports to show a second gunman on the “grassy knoll” is being shopped to news media by a Texas real estate mogul-turned-Hollywood producer.

TheWrap.com broke the story Friday, reporting that Stephen Bowen, a highly successful real-estate entrepreneur in Texas has acquired the never-before-screened JFK assassination video and is shopping it.

Bowen is now a principal in Hollywood-based Waterstone Entertainment, an independent motion picture financing and production company.

According to TheWrap.com, Bowen acquired the video from a local Houston television news producer who held it secretly for more than 40 years. ...

One of the congressman from my state was on the House Committee that investigated the Kennedy assassination. He still thinks it was alone shooter, and if there was any conspiracy, it was the Mafia that would have been involved.

I all remember the articles in the major magazines about the assassination, and they're always was something to the tie in to the mob, since Papa Joe had more than a passing acquaintance with the mob especially during the Prohibition era. So, his sons may have wanted to redeem themselves. But the Mafia wasn't going to tolerate what they might have considered in gratitude.

as I remember it... I was standing on the grassy knoll in the guy next to me pulled out a rifle and popped a shot off, ricocheting on the asphalt. then I ran down the grassy knoll to the side of the street and noticed the driver turn around and shoot him in the head. immediately after that I turned back towards the grassy knoll and noticed Jack Ruby shoots the first shooter. If batman hadn't shown up right then, jackie-o would have been gone too. it was crazy, almost like a movie. I don't remember seeing any of you guys there?

forgive me for the satire. :-)
I have my thoughts too, but, we weren't there.

P.s. just having a little fun.
and yes I know people died. which is not funny.

From my understanding JFK had a lot of enemies within the U.S. Govt. now it's very possible the mafia had some part of it, who really knows? LHO might have held the pieces to the puzzle but he was taken out before anybody could get any truth from him.

Yes, L.H. Oswald did it. If there was a second gunman he certainly missed. Oswald was a good enough shot to do it. It is interesting the rifle he used while extremely low-priced was very effective for what was done. It would be doubtful if the glass top would have stopped the bullet, or even deflected it (I think it was "Tales from the Dead," on PBS that went into detail about the weapon.)

The last Committee that examined the evidence again, some years after the assassination, came to the same conclusion that there was only one gunman and that was Oswald. If any organization was involved it was the Mafia.

Daddy Joe, had long time links to the Mafia, and it is said he used those links to help buy the states of Illinois and West Virginia. John and Bobby Kennedy did not show any gratitude, however, and starting going after the Mob. It is quite conceivable, the Mob was quite angry for this backstabbing for the help they rendered to get JFK elected.

It seems that Roman Catholics of different backgrounds such as Irish and Italian have no more problems in killing each other than Sunni and Shi'ite Muhammadans.

Amen John UK. I've always thought LHO didn't do it. It's just seemed too suspicious how his testimony was never really heard. Hi Ken, yes all I have to go on is a documentary just shown on British TV which seems conclusive.

The presidential car was followed by another with four agents. A shot was heard from behind and high up - LHO. Bystanders said they saw or heard a bullet ricochet off the pavement.

Immediately, the one agent with an assault rifle, who was in the following car, raised himself up, unlatching the safety on his rifle, and swung around to see if he could get a shot away. But just as he was turning, the car lurched or braked, and his finger was pulled onto the trigger, firing the shot which killed the president.

The autopsy held immediately was locked down by the secret service, because it would have proven what sort of bullet did the damage, and they had LHO and his rifle.

The program concluded it was an amazing accident, which was kept quiet. LHO was assassinated the next day, and the lid was shut.

According to a documentary I saw recently, one thing became very clear and easily proven: LHO did not shoot the president.

When I read "Hollywood producer", I immediately quit giving this claim any credibility. Perhaps that's jumping the gun a little bit, but I don't take Hollywood very seriously.
