Swiss asked to ditch God from national anthem
Switzerland is holding a competition to rewrite its national anthem because it currently focuses on God.

Over £7,000 is being offered as a prize for rewriting the song, which is called the Swiss Psalm.

The man in charge of the competition claims Swiss society is ‚Äúreligiously neutral‚ÄĚ, but in a 2010 census two thirds identified themselves as belonging to a church.

You're more likely to get a response if you post something that others disagree with, ifyaseewhatimean?"

Well, that's why I post the way I do, dontchaknow? I need attention...ha-ha. Actually, I hate conflict but I have such a difficult time keeping my mouth shut. I think you have a hard time with that as well, but we're alike in that we will both admit when we are dead wrong. I think some get upset with you, like in another thread, but the way I tend to see it is that all you ever want is for people to prove their "opinions" using the Bible, rather than push, get upset, and insult because you may disagree.

Quite so.

And keep posting! In the will of God, great good can come from it, both to you and to those who read your words. Our aim is always to be blessing others.

As much as I'd like to comment on here , chris, I really don't want to anymore. The news stories sicken me. It's all bad news. Besides the comments on the stories get turned into a theological debate and I'm just not interested it it. It's quite depressing. Also we got our nosy anti Christ anti freedom anti american government watching everything we say and do and I have had it.
Time to look up, Mr b. It's unfolding just like we might expect, esp now we see increasing evil worldwide.

The removal of God, Christ, Holy Spirit and the Bible from western society is an aim of Satan and his followers in the world. All they are doing is removing the Trinity and the Word from the hearts of mortals who already do not know them. What Satan's little gang seeks to achieve is chaos as usual. Little by little the nations are working on this task of wickedness and even the nominal christian churches are aiding and abetting the Devil, by the pollution of Liberalism.

The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness. Prov 15:9

He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD. Prov 17:15

How fast things are changing and how fast and furious mankind is falling. I'm not talking so much about this particular article as I am the world, as a whole, in a concerted effort, to erase the God of the universe from the minds of the new generation; encouraging them to become their own gods and to do whatever it is that fulfills fleshly desire. Mankind has perched themselves above God, much like Satan had intended, but failed miserably, as they will.
The Bible says thay man is "willfully ignorant" which I always think about because it's astonishing that they choose not to believe in the obvious; willfully condemning their own selves for all eternity. No 2nd chances, no reprieve, no light at the end of the tunnel, no escape.
