The movement to legalize multi-partner marriage got a huge boost with this week’s ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court that the federal government must give benefits to same-sex married partners, according to advocates of polygamy.
“We polyamorists are grateful to our brothers and sisters for blazing the marriage equality trail,” Anita Wagner Illig told U.S. News and World Report.
“I would absolutely want to seek multi-partner marriage — it would eliminate a common challenge polyamorists face when two are legally married and others in their group relationships aren’t part of that marriage,” she said.
Illig, head of the group Practical Polyamory, argued it’s a matter of equality – the concept cited by the U.S. court in its decision....
Well, if they brought a dog or bird whisperer in, they could get their answer. There are those on this Earth who are gifted with the ability to communicate with birds, horses, and other furry friends. Pretty amazing. My dog seemed really depressed at one point for a lengthy amount of time. I brought in a dog whisperer to find out what was up. Well, I found out that he was all upset that I didn't DVR the Westminster dog show. All is good now, but it was a difficult time for me and Mr Pibbs.

some have spent their adult lives teaching that Romans 13 means to obey all authority all the time (see "Romans 13" by Baldwin).
many have even said that if a man would come into his home and attack his wife, he would do nothing (maybe call the police), I've seen the quotes....
their message has been "stand down" and don't offend.
now we see the IRS has targeted all tea party groups, and normal families are going to be looked at as an insult to the higher, more holy eugenicists of perversion.
many church folk and pastors have left mainline churches because of these denials, and are praying and preparing for persecution. there is a spiritual preparation of "coming out of babylon" that is important to those who have been indoctriniated with pretrib rapture easy goism, "go to global wars and God will love me" types that have a doctrine gone astray. They have yet to count the cost.
Choices are being forced on us. We cannot sit on the fence, spiritually speaking anymore -- we've got to be about the Kingdom of God or go about our own business in the world... each pastor himself will be forced to make a decision, and I would say many already are by their silence.

Christopher000 IMHO I have to think the "new normal" for the United States for the unheeded warnings of God of His great displeasure over our sins, and I am including the sins that are accomodated in our churches, like ecumenism, is:
The Increasing Judgment of God
beginning at the church house after all salt that has lost its savor is good for nothing anymore than to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men, and those who have sought to be friends with the world have made themselves quite literally into enemies of God, and He will prevail against His enemies.
