NSA's Verizon Spying Order Specifically Targeted Americans, Not Foreigners

The National Security Agency has long justified its spying powers by arguing that its charter allows surveillance on those outside of the United States, while avoiding intrusions into the private communications of American citizens. But the latest revelation of the extent of the NSA’s surveillance shows that it has focused specifically on Americans, to the degree that its data collection has in at least one major spying incident explicitly excluded those outside the United States.

Well then, when and if they capture him, all he'll get it is a nice long jail sentence. By the way, as I'm playing with my tablet, I noticed that for the k-9 email program, they do recommend the following for encrypting messages. As I said if it doesn't attract the attention of the government, it could possibly make email services unhappy.

APG encryption for Android

import/export of GPG key rings and exported keys from/to the SD card
encrypt and sign messages, then send them via your preferred email app
decrypt messages and verify signatures
reply to decrypted messages with quoting and automatic filling of receiver key and signature, based on the keys used to sign/encrypt the received message
list the most recent emails in the inbox of your Google Mail accounts on the phone
support file managers for easier file selection where necessary
file encryption/decryption with asymmetric and symmetric ciphers
key management (import, create, edit, export)

According to the Constitution, Snowden's actions are not traitorous. Look up the only legal definition of treason if you care more about the truth than what left wing-nuts and ignorant politicians say.

Article 3, Section 3.

Mike of N.Y., you seem to have liked the comment no matter who it was from! But no, if I happen to wake up in the morning, there's always a tablet handy, so I check out what's happening, and I thought this article was of interest not because of Mr. Snowden's traitorous actions, but this was a discovery which was of interest. I seem to put up information on The GNU Privacy Guard. This is good enough that if any Fed. agency really wants to see what you're saying are going to start looking into you IRS records or get a warrant or whatever and force you to give them the key, because I don't think this can be broken. While having complete privacy is actually nice, and every wacko John Bircher will cheer, PGP, I'm not with Coca-Cola and have a secret recipe that is suppose to be guarded with my life.

So, anyway, that is the real Jim Lincoln who sent the earlier morning message. If you want official legal privacy use the U.S. Postal Service.

I actually got carried away this morning and left a message on the "Pope Wants to Revive..." a horse that was dead as far as Christianity is concerned before it came out of the gate, besides The Papacy.

More importantly than even who is the true Jimmy is this from the link:

"Snowden, who is wanted on U.S. espionage charges and is living in temporary asylum in Russia, disclosed secret NSA programs involving the collection of telephone and email data"

Yes, collection from American citizens. The NSA which is blatantly guilty of espionage, gets exposed, and the whistle-blower gets accused of espionage. Perverse.

Faux Jimmy, you are really uninformed aren't you? again, of course if it was really me making those comments, you know that I would have had, again, Rendering To Caesar: A Biblical Perspective On Government listed.

As soon as you graduate for kindergarten, let us all know please? Ah, but you gave me an opportunity to put up some of my pastor's sermons.

The Church in the Political Process, Faux Jimmy, I hope you aren't going to some church Red Hot Preaching, and if you're in the Chicago area, check out, Christian Fellowship Church.

Ah, UPS, we are in agreement about Bush & Cheney! I will point out, for what it might be worth (and I won't comment on that at the moment), 'Reprehensible, Reckless, Illegal': Washington Officials Slam.... I have a hard time using the term "Heroic," for the leaker.

No, Faux Jimmy, while the same would happen during the Bush Adm., they had their pampers on to stop leaks.

Furthermore, Faux Jimmy, let me clarify that Obama and the entire government is Caesar even though the Bible doesn't really support this, and that Caesar is ordained by God and the vicar of Christ on earth. Jesus is spiritual King, but Jesus indwells physical king Caesar. And when we worship Caesar, we worship God. Whoever refuses to worship Caesar is to be hurt in some way, for God gives Caesar a "sword" to execute violence on evildoers.

the ladies(Anne and Angela) were a blessing in their comments and deserve a hearty amen!! Jim forgot to mention the republican corruption that led to this and that both Bush and Cheney should have been impeached. President Obama is obviously just dealing with the hand he was dealt, it is not his fault.

Wow, Faux Jimmy, almost has it right about Rendering To Caesar: A Biblical Perspective On Government! Oh, by the way, House intel chief defends NSA; Obama 'welcomes' debate.

Apparently, Baby Bush would think only the ignorant wouldn't defend Obama's actions?

Let's not forget the Great Commission and to resist evil... This is an opportunity for God's people to rise and shine in a depraved culture. We need to be busy discipling the nations of God's Law and exposing/rebuking the wicked who try to usurp King Jesus' authority.

Not to focus on doom and gloom - this really shouldn't be a shocker to Cristians purely based on mans depravity. The wicked continue to grow more wicked and we should only expect that!

But he who endures to the end and runs the race before them, and when they've done all, to stand - shouldn't we bend our attitudes towards Christ's mind? That is, if we look at this through the lens of Heaven, do we see the doom and gloom only or can we finally begin to see the soon coming of our Hope? We all know it won't get better on Earth. But let's be honest and face it head on, remembering the government is upon Christ's shoulder, not this evil, wicked corrupt government we look at now.

You're right "no name", there will be no outcry that we can hear. However, I happen to know for a fact, that in heaven, from under the throne there is a continual outcry from the saints who have gone before us. I suspect their voices along with those of us aware of where the USA is most inevitably headed ARE being heard. As followers of Christ we have the great comforter in times of distress - who will they have?

News Item6/7/13 9:09 AM
There will be no outcry. Another thing we will just lay down to like the wimps we've become. Why fight if you're in it alone and no one stands up? I guess we like our government doing whatever it pleases to us. There the bunch of criminals and constitutional violators who need to be tried and jailed. But that's not gonna happen. We deserve what is being done to us
