Obama Gives Hezbollah 200 Armored Personnel Carriers

It’s only fair that with the Muslim Brotherhood getting 200 Abrams tanks, Hezbollah should get 200 armored personnel carriers. While tragically there was no money available to provide security for the US mission in Benghazi, there’s always room for giving billion dollar weapons packages to the terrorists who attack US embassies.

In 1983, Hezbollah carried out the suicide car bombing of the US Embassy in Beirut killing 63 people, including US soldiers, and wounding 120. The suicide vehicle of choice was a delivery van. But now Hezbollah will be able to attack the next US embassy in style with the M113 Armored Personnel Carrier.

The United States has provided more than $140 million in equipment and assistance to the Lebanese armed forces in the past six months, including six Huey 2 helicopters, a 42-metre coastal security craft, more than 1,000 guns – including grenade launchers – and 38 million ...

Somewhat relevant here. For those who like wall decor, the drawing at the link may make a fine piece in one's abode. May be well suitable for the children's classroom as well.

The old Left "arms profiteer" cliché. Cure your ignorance: all Foreign Military Sales must be approved by the State Dept., DoD, Commerce Dept. & probably Homeland Security now. And this isn't even a sale. Furthermore, it's unlikely these M113s are new production from FMC (the builder); they are probably ancient examples from Army inventory.

My basic problem with this is that it's just foreign welfare, quite apart from the fact that the client is not exactly favorable to our interests.

Christopher -- the country doesn't control its own money. it was outsourced to foreign bankers in 1913, when an organization called the FED was created. although they have strings with the gov, they are not the gov. they are private bankers. their solution to the debt, which is owed to them, is to print more money, thereby destroying the worth of that money. people complain when they see more taxes pulled out of their monthly social security check, but do not understand that the rising costs at the grocery store also have to do with the housing bubble, bailouts, and the printing of money with no substantial backing to it (before the 70s it was backed by gold, and rumors are the gold in the vaults are gone, Germany has been asking for theirs back).

if you go back to 2001 you can see that rum announced that 2.3 trillion dollars was missing from DOD. if you look up work of catherine austin fitts, she worked for B sr as assistant housing secretary and at that time was trying to force an audit to find out where all the lost money from her budgets was going.

in other words, how does this happen? anyway they want it to.

after how many invasions, we still cannot see the pattern. and yet we'll say, its cuz we're special and nice. public educated we ar.

But the president visited for a little while just before the election. Didn't he make a nice speech? Didn't that fix everything? His media seemed to think it would.

Towards the top of the pyramid are the rich men and the rich men make much in the commerce of arms and they make even more in the commerce of war. These men operate both sides of nearly every conflict, stirring men up to hate one another to procure arms, to use arms and then spend money to replace that which they have used. Typically too this is done via debt and so the rich men make coin on not only the selling of the arms but on the usury charged. The United States is the current and historical premier profiteer in the selling of arms and there has not been a country in the last 200 years that has started and been involved in the use of arms more than the United States of America. Check out War Is A Racket by Major General Smedley Butler.

"From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?" - James 4:1
