Christopher -- the country doesn't control its own money. it was outsourced to foreign bankers in 1913, when an organization called the FED was created. although they have strings with the gov, they are not the gov. they are private bankers. their solution to the debt, which is owed to them, is to print more money, thereby destroying the worth of that money. people complain when they see more taxes pulled out of their monthly social security check, but do not understand that the rising costs at the grocery store also have to do with the housing bubble, bailouts, and the printing of money with no substantial backing to it (before the 70s it was backed by gold, and rumors are the gold in the vaults are gone, Germany has been asking for theirs back).

Towards the top of the pyramid are the rich men and the rich men make much in the commerce of arms and they make even more in the commerce of war. These men operate both sides of nearly every conflict, stirring men up to hate one another to procure arms, to use arms and then spend money to replace that which they have used. Typically too this is done via debt and so the rich men make coin on not only the selling of the arms but on the usury charged. The United States is the current and historical premier profiteer in the selling of arms and there has not been a country in the last 200 years that has started and been involved in the use of arms more than the United States of America. Because america bends over backwards to help other countries who dont helo us in time of great disaster and need . The govt could care less about its own citizens. We can help others but we wont help our own. Just look around, or maybe you should have experienced what i have during storm sandy.i have ZERO hope cobfidence assurance or faith in our leaders. God got me through it, with the help of sone fellow believers and the red cross.
