Christian Radio Host: God Didn’t Stop CT Shooting Because We Took Prayer Out Of Classroom
Christian radio host Bryan Fischer took to his American Family Association radio show this afternoon to say that God didn’t stop the horrific Connecticut elementary school shooting spree because he does not go “where he is not wanted.”

Fischer made the case that, in his mind, God would have protected the shooting victims had there been a system of school prayer and a respect for the Ten Commandments in public classrooms.

“Where was God when all of this went down?” Fischer began. “Here’s the bottom line: God is not going to go where he is not wanted.” ...

Should any of those poor children have belonged to members of this church, I have no doubt that instead of picketing and shouting God's judgement, the rest of the congregation would have allowed them to mourn for the loss of their little babies.
It's the Government they have a serious issue with, not the kids, etc. They wouldn't have protested if the children were in a non-Government school.

But did Abraham march with his clan into the Cities of the Plain & wave placards in the faces of all those Sodomites? All he did was petition God & treat with the angelic wrecking crew. In any case, the church is a New Covenant entity, & thus is supposed to follow Christ's directions & those of the Apostles, & not merely imitate OT Patriarchs.

Quite correct. There's no Biblical evidence I can find that the Apostolic church concerned itself with civil misrule, even though there was plenty to protest. For example, the Senate at the time had little authority; Cæsars had the real power, & abused it often – not far from our situation.

From what the Epistles reveal, there was trouble enough within the church, as there still is.

"My wife asked me last night, "arn't they Baptists? .... now she has that scene in her head whenever she hears the word "Baptist".

Exactly, it is more than a Satanic plot, the reason these hard core Calvinist heretics are never touched is because they are being used as a tool by Satan and high level government to introduce a violent level of hate into the minds of all the world that is only seen elsewhere in Islamic countries, towards anyone who ever claims the word "baptist" ever again. If even a so called Christian wife doesn't even know the difference, imagine the average unbeliever on the street who hears the word today.

The word "Baptist" is almost at the level of the word "gay" now, a word that can't even be used anymore (in its traditional sense) or you will be translated improperly in the minds of the hearers into something you don't wish to portray.

Westboro has made it their ambition to consistently protest the overarching federal government by picketing at government-related funerals. They're using the first amendment rights to express their hope for a much smaller government, fewer dead soldiers, no federally-mandated same-sex marriage, etc. When D.C. becomes a pre-1860 sized 'ghost town' they will cease and desist.
Westboro is violating several Scriptures in their exercise of free speech. Weep with those who weep, do to others as you would have them do to you, love your enemies and bless them that curse you, We give no offense in anything, that our ministry may not be blamed, to name a few. The preaching of the cross is its own offense, we need not add to it. Are they in God's stead to say what He uses to bring judgment? There is no promise that God will deal with sinners this side of glory.(Psalm 73)They bring shame to the cause of Christ. Paul said he was constrained by the LOVE of Christ, not hatred. May God rebuke us all for not sharing the gospel enough, but what they do is turning people from Christ not to Him.

UnprServant...you were right! The Westboro Baptist church has been on the other side of the street during the children's funerals! They have been screaming that the deaths are God's judgement on the school. The firefighters formed a shoulder to shoulder wall to block the mourners.
What's wrong with those people. My wife asked me last night, "arn't they Baptists? "Do all Baptists feel that way"? I had to do some explaining but now she has that scene in her head whenever she hears the word "Baptist".

Maybe God didn't stop it not because of prayer being taken out of the classroom, but BECAUSE of the classroom.

Bryan Fischer's "Jewish" Surname Should Speak For Itself.

Yet Fischer's Reasoning Is Very Illogical, Unreasonable & UnScriptural If Not UnHistoric &-Or UnBiblical.

As I've Previously Said--Almighty God & The Lord Jesus Christ Have Gone To Many Places "where he is not wanted".

Hell Itself Being One Notable Place:

"If I Ascend Up Into Heaven, Thou Art There: If I Make My Bed In Hell, Behold, Thou Art There."--Psalm 139:8

Again, God & Christ Have Gone Into The Very Hearts, Souls & Spirits Of Men; Who Habitually Spiritually, Psychologically & Physically Sin Against God/Christ Continuously:

"And God Saw That The Wickedness Of Man [Is] Great In The Earth, And That Every Imagination Of The Thoughts Of His Heart [Is] Only Evil Continually."--Genesis 6:5

Fischer, In My Opinion, Is A "Jewish" False Teacher & False "Prophet".

He's Advocating The Hidden-Agenda & Ulterior-Motive Of The So-Called "Judaizers" &-Or Talmudic "Jewish" Theologians:

Who Teach That One Has To Be In The "Temple 'Of God' (In Jerusalem)", That Is Old "Solomon's-Temple"--Which Was Destroyed By The Roman General Titus In 70 AD--In Order To Be In "God's Perfect & Holy Will".

Such Theology Has No Place In True Historic Biblical Christianity.

**As Christians Are The True "Temple Of God".**

• Is there such a thing as a mass murderer who is in his right mind?
• Along similar lines, what defines a “lunatic,” like other psychological pigeonholes, depends on which shrink you talk to. Some think Christians & Repubs are lunatics.
- Why may Lanza be called foolish, but not looney? But my comment was on the ref to the great flood and the final plague. These were if you will, "first person" caused events, no people means were involved in the causation.

I'm pleased you asked "If we accept.."

- No. But if this is true, can "lunatic" be too far off a description? Too narrow? Broad? Fuzzy?

- Didn't seek shrink opinion on the pigeonhole. Not sure they use it anyway. I think they prefer something that can be acronymed. Besides, with their rate of suicide as a profession, maybe their opinion on psych matters aren't necessarily any better than yours or mine. I merely applied my own simple thoughts, like if someone does something crazy(I know, how do you define crazy) perhaps they're crazy?

Whether God/Christ "Forces" Himself Upon Anyone--I'll Leave That To The Hyper-Calvinists & Hyper-Arminians To Grapple With.

The True Holy Bible Definitely Teaches That Almighty God & Christ (& The Holy Ghost [Spirit]) Go To Places Where They're Not Particularly Wanted.

Christ Jesus Said "Go Ye Into All The World, And Preach The Gospel To Every Creature."--Mark 16:15

He Meant What He Said & Said What He Meant.

Christ Didn't Say 'Go Ye Into All The Earth'--As Some Global Evangelists Advocate (Which I Also Advocate)--Christ Said 'Go Ye Into All The World'.

Now, Does This Speak Of The Physical/Material-World, The Mental/Psychological/'Soulish'-World Or The 'Spiritual'-World ?

Well, It At Least Starts With The Physical/Material &-Or Cosmological World.

"And Preach The Gospel To Every Creature."

Does This Mean To Preach The Gospel To "Animals" Or "Angels (Elect &-Or Evil)" Also?; As They're Creatures Too: Who Were Created By The Creator.

Most Historic Christians, Especially Historic Biblical Literalists Interpret The "Every Creature" To Mean "Every Man (Woman & Child)".

Well, Like "The World", Every Physical/Material/Cosmological Human Adult Is As Good A Place To Start As Any.

Then Children.

Are Christians Doing This Now?

**Globally &-Or 1 By 1?**
