When God destroyed the Jewish temple, all aspects of religious courts were done away with. That was the only land that was ever established under a theocracy; everything else is manmade. The RCC of course established court systems during the middle ages and the result was 10s of thousands of Christians being killed at the direction of these RC courts or government courts established and controlled by the RCC.
Sharia basically does the same thing and if given the opportunity, would gladly do the same thing as the RCC did in western societies. There are a great many similarities between RC and Islam; both being a distortion of the Old Testament. I have a photo of John Paul II kissing the Koran and the RCC officially calls them separated brethren. The office term the RCC uses for them is "invincible ignorance".
As an aside, I have been told by them that I am not "invincibly ignorant", so I am a heretic.
In my opinion, when we see the RCC and Islam merge more, then we have an end-time scenario. Both, if given the opportunity would hunt down and kill genuine believers. No, I can't support this thought.

I read the whole article and am not shocked or surprised. Europe is a decayed continent. The EU constitution has NO mention of Christianity. Islam is spreading because, though devilish, it has a non-compromising absolute base. Most people do not, they are existentialists and merely want personal peace and affluence. As long as Sharia does not, at this moment of time, change peoples lives drastically it will be accepted under the mythological perspective of multi-culturalism.
