In the wake of a Newsweek cover proclaiming Barack Obama as the “First Gay President,” the Lesbian & Gay Victory Institute has published the names of more than 250 openly LGBT (Lesbian-”Gay”-Bisexual-Transgender) professionals appointed by the Obama administration to federal government policy jobs.
The institute said the long list means the Obama administration has set a record for appointing more openly LGBT individuals to the federal government than all previous administrations combined.
In an “outing” move that would have likely drawn criticism if published by someone else, the names were released under the headline, “The Presidential Appointments Project,” an effort started in 2008 by the Lesbian & Gay Victory Institute in conjunction with some 20 other LBGT advocacy groups aimed at increasing the number of openly homosexual persons receiving presidential appointments to government posts....
Instead of addressing the point of the article, "The institute said the long list means the Obama administration has set a record for appointing more openly LGBT individuals to the federal government than all previous administrations combined." Jim from Lincoln chooses NOT to disdain the actions of the president but instead opts to try and say well the republicans aren't perfect either. Guess I missed the point in the article that said they were and needed to be refuted. Will Jim continue to excuse the godlessness of the dems and libs? Do two wrongs make a right? If you are the independent you say you are, let us see you condemn those on the political left.
Don't worry,if Romney gets elected he will be the second "gay," President. Gay Romney Aide Resigns add a comment by Romney himself, ' “I believe that marriage has been defined the same way for literally thousands of years by virtually every civilization in history and that marriage is by its definition a relationship between a man and woman,” Romney said Thursday on Fox News. But he added that same-sex couples should have the right to adopt children and start families, adding that the marriage issue was “tender and sensitive.”' Excerpt from, GOP treads lightly on gay marriage issue. Don't you just love politicians? :-7
