The Vatican, engulfed in the worst crisis in Pope Benedict's papacy, on Monday denied Italian media reports that cardinals were suspects in an investigation into leaks of sensitive documents that led to the arrest of the pope's butler.
But while denying the reports, which said the butler was merely a courier in a behind-the-scenes struggle for power in the Holy See, the Vatican acknowledged that the often sordid affair would test the faith of Catholics in their Church.

The only way a Roman Catholic is not hearing the Scripture is if he neither attends mass nor reads the Bible for himself. And if this is the case, he's a Catholic in name only. ________________________________________
Scriptura - have you ever noticed that your mass readings are often incomplete? As many as 40% of your readings are abrogated. Why would that be? You should do a study sometime and read the verses that are skipped in your readings. I did that once when I was a questioning RCC and The Lord used it to the saving of my soul. For example - the reading from Deut left out this verse - Deu 4:35 Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him.
None else like him at all (like the RCC version of Mary) - why wouldn't they want you to read that? I challenge you to look ahead at the readings for the next few months and read all of the verses that are skipped - you will see a pattern.....
Vatican says Church hurt by scandal. Obviously, this article is about what is hurting Catholic people today. What is hurting Protestant people today is also uncovered by other news items on this site. Let us therefore also pray: That the breath of God will slay all hypocrites who promote themselves by using the word of God - so the Glory goes to God alone. Amen?

The papal antichrist, his lackeys and his misguided vassals got there long before them. Hence.....
"31 In that thou buildest thine eminent place in the head of every way, and makest thine high place in every street; and hast not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire; 32 But as a wife that committeth adultery, which taketh strangers instead of her husband! 33 They give gifts to all whores: but thou givest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and hirest them, that they may come unto thee on every side for thy whoredom. 34 And the contrary is in thee from other women in thy whoredoms, whereas none followeth thee to commit whoredoms: and in that thou givest a reward, and no reward is given unto thee, therefore thou art contrary. 35 Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD: 36 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them;" Ezek 16:
The problem is the prescibed Missal readings are given second place in the Mass, as you surely must know. The Mass is designed to give full attention to the sacrifice at the altar and the man standing at the altar. Outside of Mass, Scripture can not be trivialised, or quieted so the men can get on with the real business of the Mass. That of giving glory to themselves instead of the Word of God. Excuse me for saying 'alluding' instead of 'eluding' in my previous post.
Not just readings Scriptura, but reading the whole Bible is what a Christian does. While fellows such as Ryrie and MacArthur has many helpful ideas in their study Bibles, they do not have God imprimatur on their work which the Catholic falsely puts on its Bibles --with comments--too bad all those helpful hints are wrong. If a Catholic read even their own Bible, they would find out it is only by "Only Scripture," "Only Christ," "Only Grace," "Only Faith," and "To God Alone Be Glory", can a person approach God and not through The Sacraments....

The following are the readings at this Sunday's Mass:
The Old Testament: Dt 4:32-34, 39-40
The Psalm: Ps 33:4-5, 6, 9, 18-19, 20, 22
The Epistle: Rom 8:14-17
The Gospel: Mt 28:16-20
The only way a Roman Catholic is not hearing the Scripture is if he neither attends mass nor reads the Bible for himself. And if this is the case, he's a Catholic in name only.
The Church of England, Church of Scotland (Presbyterian), Episcopal Church USA, PC(USA), United Church of Christ all turned gay almost overnight.

My plea to you is, to engage with Catholic people at this time, however and where ever the opportunity arises, as their faith in The Church is being crushed by continuous scandal and embarrassment - this is a time that presents itself for true believers in the word of God to engage with people who have been decieved. Perhaps some will see. Don't believe the bravado, the seemingly 'blind' faith of the Catholic lay-person. Of course they are shaken to the core - and embarrassed. Wouldn't you be???? Don't ram scripture down their throats, INTRODUCE them to it, like a mother introduces solids to an infant. Thank God!!!! I am so happy to be seeing these things. Aren't you??? Oh Lord, Keep it up! Don't give them a moments peace! Let them toss and turn on their beds, let sleep allude them. Amen.
