43% say Tim Tebow is winning via Divine Intervention
A lot of jokes have been made about Tim Tebow getting help from up above, but apparently many people believe that's actually the case.
In a telephone survey, the Poll Position website found that 43.3% of people who are aware of Tebow's success believe Divine Intervention has been a factor.
The Jan. 8 survey involved 756 people who were up to date on Tebow. The youthful 18-to-29-year-old demographic was the one most apt to believe that it isn't just the football gods who are smiling on Tebow, with 52.3% saying yes to the Divine Intervention theory....
The question now is; Do 43% believe that he lost via Divine intervention? STUPID! and SILLY! It would help a great many people {at least 43%} to read John Reisinger’s booklet, The Sovereignty of God in Providence. http://solochristo.com/theology/Salvation/pog/sogp1.htm
I don't think God prefers one team over another, but most people pray that everyone is safe and has a good time. Tebow is a very vocal believer and he thanks God for his ability. Nohing wrong with that. I have lived abroad as a teacher these last three football seasons now, and what they call football here is actually what we call soccer...ewwwww...so God knows that I miss football
You know I hear of so many people say God don't intervene in football games but I must say I disagree with that to in-extent. Maybe God don't bless the whole team but he sure would bless those who are his. I believe Tebow is finding favor in God's eyes because he his giving  God the glory with his whole heart. So because many believe that God has no involvement with football does that mean none should ask for his help. The king is our friend and God and it's wonderful to take every opportunity to hang with him and ask for his help. God be with Tebow when they play against the Patriots and that your name would be glorified.ÂÂ
The question is, does what these 43% think imply Tebow believes he is winning by divine intervention? Nothing I saw in an interview with him would lead me to suspect it. Rather he said it was a team effort. He did give glory to God for any skill he might have. I found it commendable. Too many talented folk think what have is only by their own efforts.
