S.C. Episcopalians Vote to Stay and Fight False Gospel
Heeding a call by the diocesan bishop to fight the "false Gospel of indiscriminate inclusivity," Episcopalians in the Diocese of South Carolina voted on Saturday to reduce its participation in the national church.

In an 87-17 vote, with one abstention, the diocese approved a resolution to begin withdrawing from all bodies of The Episcopal Church that have assented to actions contrary to Scripture and Anglican tradition.

South Carolina Bishop Mark Lawrence lamented the national church's "unbiblical" direction not only on human sexuality, but also on the Trinity, the uniqueness of Christ, scriptural authority, baptismal theology, and constitutions and canons.

"When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?" he posed at the convention. ...

My, John, I wondered what happened to you. The Anglican Church is almost at the pinnacle of syncretism. It was a syncretic invention for it's very inception, as I think you would even agree based on the evilness of a king who wanted a divorce. There were some Christians in it at the beginning, but guess! The English Dissenters, the Rational Dissenters, Anabaptists, and Puritans and other Christians left this condemned church because God hates The Syncretizing of the Gospel Today but of yesterday also, You are to reject the The Doctrine of Apostates and have nothing to do with them -- or their works.

You Evangelical Protestants what is your problem anyway with individuals who are Born Again remaining in the Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox Church and Mainline Protestant Churches spreading the True Gospel Of Jesus to fellow Catholics, Eastern Orthodox and Mainline Protestants? They will still gain entrance into Heaven even if they do not leave the Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox Church and Mainline Protestant Churches and do not join an Evangelical Protestant Church because they fulfilled the only requirement there is for gaining entrance into Heaven which is to become Born Again by receiving Jesus as ones Personal Savior and Lord.

Gentlemen, on the whole I agree with you, except that Anglicanism, and the Puritans finally saw the light about Staying in Hope of Changing the Church. This is really nonsense, so it is better to leave sooner rather than later when it comes in getting out of a false church.

Good for them to stand up for the truth which their original Anglican faith embraced and what has been the tradition since the foundation of the Church concerning faith and morals.

"Seeing neither a "hasty departure" nor a "paralyzed passivity" as the answer, the South Carolina expressed his desire to challenge the heterodoxy"

Whilst I admire his 'courage' to remain in the Episcopalean denomination, I have to admit that in this day and age there is a better way to witness in a True Biblical Church.

In one sense he and the others are keeping the heretical denomination open to continue false doctrine and delude many, who otherwise may seek elsewhere.

2John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

From the article, '"Since 1968 The Episcopal Church has experienced a 44 percent decline in membership from 3.6 million to 2.1 million, Lawrence pointed out. He stressed that what they need to do today is wake up the Church before the "train load of radical activism roll[s] them along to a dead end station."'

The problem with Anglicanism they are like Roman Catholics, Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses and mix men's teachings with what is in the Bible. There is only one cure for The Doctrine of Apostates, leave the church that does it, and find one that only believes in the authority of the Bible. It's "Only Scripture," "Only Christ," "Only Grace," "Only Faith," and "To God Alone Be Glory".
