Muslim hired to run church's youth programs
A non-denominational Mississauga church known for its liberal religious practices has taken the unusual step of hiring an outspoken Muslim woman to run its youth programs.

The Unitarian Congregation announced yesterday it has appointed Farzana Hassan as director of spiritual exploration.

Hassan is a well-known author and poet and an outspoken activist who has butted heads with orthodox imams on issues such as hijab, polygamy and terrorism.

God help these people who brainwash children into believing their false, man made theologies and philosophies. This is where straying from the true Word of God leads. Please take the time to do research on all these, so-called, new versions, I call them perversions, of the Bible. The underlying texts and their interpreters are dishonest and disgraceful. I believe the King James Bible and it's underlying Textus Receptus are the Words of God that He promised to preserve. Do an unbiased study for yourself. How can you follow God's Words if they have been changed or deleted.

wow, those numbers are somewhat shocking. We do not get together for a formal bible study. However, we go to each other if we have questions over our private bible study.

I was stationed in Germany for 6 years in the U.S. Army. I never made it to the U.K. I wish I had. So much History.

Yes, we make dies that make crankshafts for cars. GM, Chrysler, Hyndai, Toyota and Honda. Of course, business is a little slow at the moment. I've seen many good friends get laid off. Most have not found jobs yet. It's tough here...

Most people I know do spend some time in church. We also have 2 guys that claim to be athiest. It varies.

Thanks for the chat, i've really enjoyed our conversation!!!

thx for that Barry, i have no idea how oher people live, i have never worked in a place like you describe where most people are christians ! i dont remember working in a place where anyone was a christian ! I never heard of anywhere like that. that must be encouraging for you all, do you have a weekly bible study say at lunchtime together ?

this is a die shop you say - do i understand that this is a form of metalworking whereby you are machining pattens for pressing and casting ?

well the man in question could hardly have failed to hear the gospel in those circumstances - perhaps he just wanted to do things his way !

do many people go to church in kentucky ? in UK very very few people go to church at all you might be suprised how few, and of that tiny number the majority of them do not hear the gospel properly from believing pastors or ministers as we call them. there is a great famine of preaching here the elect are a tiny number, i would guess on my island of 60 000 you might have 600 at the most probly less

Q. What do you get when you cross a Mormon with a Unitarian?

A. Someone who knocks on your door - but they're not really sure why.

Good question Prince, I have not kept any secrets about my faith in God and Jesus Christ as my Savior. Perhaps that is why he came to me in the first place. In our die shop we have mostly active Christians. We talk with each other constantly about our faith, families, churches, etc. We would however be fired if we stood on a soapbox and started a sermon. I've always felt the best way to share the Gospel message is to let the world see it in you!!! If you come on too strong, which is what i suspect most religous people do, you will only drive people like my friend away.

He grew up in central KY and didn't know the story of Jesus. Makes me wonder why we are sending missionaries to foreign lands, it seems we haven't done such a wonderful job here. The guy that watched the Passion of the Christ has recently downloaded the bible on his ipod. He really seems interested!!!
That's awesome that God is leading him! You are so right, we now need missionaries in our own nations. Often now it seems, we are even in need of missionaries in our own Churches!

May The Lord continue to draw this dear man unto Himself! God bless!

There are many "Churches" where God's Word is not preached. Once, my husband had a friend over, a man who has gone to church for years and has been a part of his church's choir. He was talking sinfully around my husband, then I did what I thought was reminding him of Jesus' Words concerning lust and adultery in Matthew 5:28. He said he had never heard the verse before in Church or ever! Wow!

Matthew 5:28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Now it would have been too much to expect that a group that has the Hypocrisy and the Self-Refuting Nature of Unitarian Universalist ideals to do such a thing.
