Feb. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Republican presidential candidate John McCain today publicly thanked two prominent conservative Christian leaders who have rallied to his defense in recent days.
``I was very pleased to see comments made by people like Tony Perkins and Dr. Richard Land,'' McCain told reporters after a rally in Nashville, Tennessee. ``I appreciate the words that they have been using.''
Perkins, head of the Family Research Council, a conservative public policy group, and Land, a leader in the 16- million member Southern Baptist Convention, have criticized McCain in the past. Perkins told the New York Times that he has ``no residual issue with John McCain,'' while Land told the newspaper McCain ``is strongly pro-life.''...
As a lifelong Democrat if Obama gets the Democratic nomination for president and McCain gets the Republican nomination for president then I will be forced for the first time to support the Republican nominee for president because I would rather have a white Republican in the White House over a Black Democrat.

Jesse Jackson Sr. & Jr.--His Great Political/Religious Sponsors, Supporters, Communicators, Fundraisors & Liberal-Democratic Friends !
Obama is now claiming to be a devout Christian complete with all the right buzz words. BUT, Why did Obama's senior pastor/church give the 2007 Lifetime Achievement award to the leader of the The Nation of Islam via the Trumpet Magazine, which is published by the pastor's daughter with help from church staff!
Of all the people serving the Christian church they honor Louis Farrakhan whose life-purpose is to praise Allah as God? Blasphemy for any Christian! Yet Obama says he's devout.
Obama also knowingly and purposefully employs Nation of Islam members on his staff. A devout Christian would not allow this influence as it violates Scripture.

Evangelicals support John McCain that's all well and good.But true Bible-believers should not support him. He is one of those wolves in sheep's clothing. I know that the verse is talking about Pastors and leaders of the church,but true Bible- believers should be able to see through him. I am an un-decided Republican voter and a BIBLE-BELIEVER. Well, guys, it looks like the presidential race is all over bar the shouting.
We just heard on the news that Barrack Hussein Obama has been declared an Irishman (really...) from the ancient Tipperary O'Bama clan. It is fully expected that the Bishops of Boston will soon declare indulgences for all who vote for him, so youse in Americay will just have to get used to the idea.
There is at least one residual issue with Mr. McCain, I would suggest that you look at the YouTube video, Immigration Gumballs and of course read, Romanizing America Through Illegal Immigration. I wish people say they want to follow in that astrologer guided President Reagan, and instead use Eisenhower as an example. Of course, that won't happen, The Believer and Politics.
