As the holiday season gets under way, Meg Munn, a junior minister, has emphasised that it is illegal to allow married couples to share a room at a guest house or hotel while not allowing homosexuals the same right.
If gays are turned away, the only way a Christian or Muslim guest house owner can lawfully stay in business is if he or she offers single bedrooms to all guests - straight or gay....
Who would not weep for these islands, the birthplace of Wyclif, Tyndale, Bunyon, Cranmer, Wesley's, Whitefield, Ryle, Spurgeon, Pink and too many others to mention and now sunk in depravity which marks them as a sign and a wonder in the world? Christian, please pray for the British Isles that a sovereign God may yet revive in these dark days of judgment.
I think the real problem here, as in society everywhere, is the upsurge of sodomy, rather than whether the Hoteliers can police these evil people.

Even the children at school are provided with sex education which includes sodomy as an acceptable practice. Which clearly is much worse than the Hotel trade, which probably is more likely to concentrate on profits, - rather than something as boring as morals.
Billyyeah's thoughts occurred to me, too, and made me wonder about the coarsening of our culture--even for Christians.
Only answer I can give is that "men with men" is NEVER OK, but a man with a woman IS OK in marriage ONLY; and that it's not the job of innkeepers to try to determine whether or not their male-female couples are sinning or not, but it's always obviously sinful when it's a male-male or female-female couple...and in this case the innkeepers can and must be able to say "no".
Just a thought....Why didn't the hotel owners care when unmarried people were sleeping together. Since when is homosexual sex more of a sin than fornication between heterosexuals? I am not trying to justify homosexuals, I am just wondering why Christians seem to turn a blind eye to fornicative relationships, but go nuts when gay people want to sleep together.
Yes Jim. That is indeed what is coming next. Barak Obama has already expressed his desire to see sex education taught to kindergartners. In Maoist speak "sex education" is code for sodomy indoctrination. We already have it here in California. Kids pray to Allah in the morning, have lunch, then receive homosexual/transgender Ed. in the afternoon. But hey, why should the parents care? They have vacations to plan and tv shows to watch.
