Turkish official compares pope to Hitler
ISTANBUL, Turkey - Pakistan’s legislature unanimously condemned Pope Benedict XVI. Lebanon’s top Shiite cleric demanded an apology. And in Turkey, the ruling party likened the pontiff to Hitler and Mussolini and accused him of reviving the mentality of the Crusades.

Across the Islamic world Friday, Benedict’s remarks on Islam and jihad in a speech in Germany unleashed a torrent of rage that many fear could burst into violent protests like those that followed publication of caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad.

By citing an obscure Medieval text that characterizes some of the teachings of Islam’s founder as “evil and inhuman,” Benedict inflamed Muslim passions and aggravated fears of a new outbreak of anti-Western protests. ...

Faithful Remnant,

If I do not engage in any idolatrous activities then why would I be a partaker of plagues? If someone does not engage in any idolatrous activities then they are not idolators and thus they will not be punished.

So John Simpson, your logic is more important than God's command. You'd rather not come out and logically(according to the order of scripture) partake of plagues unimaginably horrific.

I am just trying out different user names. John Yurich is also a user name. John Yurich is not my real name and I am not going to give my real name either because I wish to remain anonymous on here and I do not want anybody to know where I reside.

Faithful Remnant,

Well of course in order to receive salvation it is a prerequisite that one believes in the Deity of Christ(To receive Christ as Savior) and the Holy Trinity. If a Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox or Mainline Protestant does not engage in any idolatrous activities of the Roman Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox Church and Mainline Protestant Churches then why would they be a partaker of her plagues? Logic dictates that if someone does not engage in any idolatrous activities then they are above reproach and thus they would not be under condemnation.

I thought it was necessary also to believe in the Holy Trinity and Christ's deity in addition to praying to receive salvation. And if you don't "Come out of her" it goes on to say you'll be a partaker of her plagues.

I know who Peter thinks he is: Peter. Stable as a rock. We know that because he doesn't keep changing his identity

Go ahead and knock yourself out with those numbers but I am never going to leave the Roman Catholic Church and that is that. End of story. Got it? Just who do you think you are anyway to state that if I do not leave the Roman Catholic Church that I will in no way gain entrance into Heaven eventhough I fulfilled the only requirement for salvation and that is to receive Christ as Savior?

Not a very Christ-like comment there, "Dennis". And if Jim truly is a lunatic, you should have pity on him instead of insulting him.

It's no use trying to disguise yourself John, your style gives you away.

Nebraska Jim,

You and your minister can both go jump in the lake as far as I am concerned because both of you guys are total lunatics and you and your minister are not half as good of Christians as my brother, his minister and everybody else at that Non Denominational Church because they do not go around preaching hatred toward any church that acknowledges the Deity of Christ and the Holy Trinity.

You can continue to post numbers but I will never leave the Roman Catholic Church and I will never join a Fundamentalist Protestant Church if it has lunatics like you in it. My brother's Non Denominational minister states that it is not required for salvation for someone who has received Christ as their Savior to leave the Roman Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox Church and Mainline Protestant Churches and join a Fundamentalist Protestant Church and thus I am not going to listen to any of you lunatic Fundamentalist Protestants on here and that is that. End of story. Do you got it?

Hmmmm, very interesting. An ex-Nazi Youth become Pope who is compared to Hitler. Since the Roman Catholic Church supported Hitler and since Catholics made up the bulk of German Fascist forces, why should we be surprised if the Pope is seen in such a manner?

News Item9/18/06 6:26 AM
Dennis Danich | USA

You are right about Nebraska Jim believes that only individuals who belong to the One Holy Church founded by Gil Rugh are Christians. And the other insane Fundamentalist Protestants on here think that their church is the only True Church. These Fundamentalist Protestants on here are totally wacked out and they are in need of psychological evaluation.

Yes, Jim, 1.5 million (or so) Armenian Christians.

But since they didn't belong the One Holy Church founded by Gil Rugh, you probably don't regard them as Christians.

The Vatican computer has analized all the various aliases and arrived at the true identity of the heretic semi-Catholic.

You will have a visit from them soon....
