Harvard United Ministry chaplain Jeffrey K. Barneson says Harvard has a reputation for being irreligious. “I get these calls from people saying, ‘Oh I’ve heard that Harvard is a godless place,’” he says.
This reputation may soon be no more. According to University President Lawrence H. Summers, the evangelical Christian community here at Harvard has grown significantly.
Speaking to prospective freshmen during prefrosh weekend, Summers said that the number of students at Harvard who identify themselves as evangelical Christians has doubled in the last decade....
Anything goes for the papacy and other apostate churches, so long as it's false.
I was just now reading a footnote in Vincent Cheung's "Systematic Theology" (q.v.) wherein he says: "A system may claim to be a divine revelation, but can it survive scrutiny? Besides the self-contradictory claims of Islam, the Koran at some points acknowledge the Christian Bible, but then makes claims contradictory to it, and thus the entire religion self-destructs."
Sometime ago I wrote, "The RCC bible - Ah yes- a book used to justify all things to all men! The syncretism of Rome will mean that the RCC bible will never be a closed canon... we await the time when the RCC adopts the Hindu Scriptures and the Koran as its own
.. its only a question of time... watch this space!!"
Well, instalment 2:
go and look at this link:

See what JP II is doing!! How long do you suppose it will be before the RCC adopt it for their own?
"Typical papist idiocy. I assume GG has never read the whole apocrypha as well as never having read all the 66 books of the Bible.
Which is more idiotic, to read most of all of God's word or to ignore the part that you don't approve of? It is dangerous to ASSUME anything my dear 33k. I have read most of the proto-canonicals, most of the deutero-canonicals, but if you use 'Apocrypha' to mean uncanonical books why should I bother?
"...he's certainly full of something...out of the rear end of equines." MyResp: If so, perhaps we have something in common after all...you're just a bigger equine that I am.
The RCC bible - Ah yes- a book used to justify all things to all men!
The syncretism of Rome will mean that the RCC bible will never be a closed canon... we await the time when the RCC adopts the Hindu Scriptures and the Koran as its own
.. its only a question of time... watch this space!!
Bolshoi! I already have the best Bible available, because it has ALL of God's word not just the stuff that palitable to Prots. The Catholics were definitely with Christ 2000 years ago and still are to this very day. And if Jesus says to gather, who are you to say no! Your drivel amounts to Chaff in the wind!
Throwing bombs to wake up someone to the truth won't work, GG.
Reminds me of a fable: A woman who had a drunk husband was fed up with him one day. So she thought up a plan.
In a few hours, he came home dead-drunk as always. That's when she executed her plan. She carried him to the graveyard and threw him in a pit there.
After a while, she said to herself, "Now maybe he'll stop drinking so much. I'll go and give him some food." So she went to the graveyard. She asked him, "Would you like some food, husband?"
His response: "Away with your food, woman. Drink's the stuff for me!!!" So the woman went home grieving because her plan had not worked.
So, GG, maybe you should tell people what you think without using bombs like the woman in the fable did.
GG You say, "The pagans will defeat us because Christianity is split!"
Wrong!!!.. Christ said, that he would build his church and that the gates of hell shall not prevail against her. But then one would need to have faith to believe that statement, and since you don't have it, you have to insist that all Protestants have to join the Roman fold if Christianity is to survive!!
Romanism ain't Christian. Go deceive elsewhere O child of Satan!
Eunice...I was using the term "Fundamentalist" to stand for people who believe the "Fundamentals" as stated in a Protestant book from the 1920's. But, I get your point!
In what is known as the "Post-christian" era, I am glad to have Protestants on my side (That doesn't mean that I agree with you). The problem is y'all don't know I'm on your side, so I throw a bomb now and again to wake you up!
