NYC Muslim Group Warns U.S.: 'Your Days are Numbered'
CBN.com ‚Äď NEW YORK CITY - So far, the violent riots that have erupted throughout the Muslim world over the Mohammed cartoons have not been repeated here in the U.S.

But yesterday in New York City, one radical Islamic group was preaching a message that is anything but peaceful.

It wasn't Pakistan or Gaza. It was Manhattan's east side. The group calls itself the Islamic Thinker's Society‚ÄĒITS, for short. The purpose of the demonstration was to condemn the now infamous cartoons.

But there was another message as well: that Islam will one day dominate the world. ...

"I was a Baptist and never will again be a Baptist for conscience's sake."

"Baptists can't get the most simple things right"

What kind of bs comments are these msc? if you want to make such comments based on your so dam superior wisdom, knoledge and gifts of understanding why don't you proove them, instead of making such statements with absolutely no comments to back them up?

I am sick of so many lame a$$ people and preachers who think they know so much and then never back up their lame comments.

Be careful how you word things Albert. What about Christians who have slipped away. If someone looks at what you have said, you say someone who falls away loses their salvation! God bless.

I see Mr. Ankerberg kinda lumps Roman Catholics, Eastern Orthodox, and liberal Protestants together. This is unjust and deceiving. Why? Because the Catholics and Orthodox are much more conservative than the protestant counterparts. Further, Mr. Ankerberg is a Baptist, and Baptists are not The Church of the New Testament. I was a Baptist and never will again be a Baptist for conscience's sake. I would not trust Ankerberg on his attempts to decipher Christian issues at all. Baptists can't get the most simple things right so how can they be trusted to get more complex things right? Ankerberg's arrogance and bias attitude comes out plainly. However, he is probably right about his analyses of Islam, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses and New Age.

Too bad this article came from the "Christian" Broadcasting Network, I don't trust very much what Pat Robertson has his hands on. This is about a similar group in Boston:

Nebraska Jim,

CONT. believes that Christ is God and believes in the Holy Trinity. I have stated numerous times why I do not want to attend Fundamentalist or Evangelical Protestant Churches. The reason is because I do not like the non liturgical worship services that the Fundamentalist and Evangelical Protestant Churches have. And another thing that I do not like about Fundamentalist and Evangelical Protestant Churches is that everybody is expected to engage in fellowship and interpersonal communication with other individuals and I am just not that comfortable fellowshipping and engaging in interpersonal communication with other individuals. Since when is fellowshipping and engaging in interpersonal communcation necessary for salvation and gaining entrance into Heaven? When I attend church I wish to sit in the back and be left alone to worship Christ alone.

Nebraska Jim,

I don't care what Ankerberg or Paisley have to state about anything. By stating that when a Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox or a Mainline Protestant receives Christ as their Savior that they have to leave the Roman Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox Church or a Mainline Protestant Church and join a Fundamentalist or Evangelical Protestant Church what you are in essence stating is that church membership has something to do with salvation and gaining entrance into Heaven. Church membership carries zero weight when it comes to salvation and gaining entrance into Heaven. Christ will not require of everybody when they stand before Him after they pass away that they had belonged to a Fundamentalist or Evangelical Protestant Church in addition to having received Him as their Savior. Christ will only require of everybody that they had received Him as their Savior in order to gain entrance into Heaven.

Who says that everybody who receives Christ as their Savior has to belong to a Fundamentalist or Evangelical Church? If church membershipo has no bearing on salvation and gaining entrance into Heaven then why should it matter what church someone who has received Christ as their Savior belongs to? The only thing that matters is that the church that they belong to CONT.

Democracy has Imploded! i.e. When the unheard thought of one individual on any given subject clashes with the spoken thought by one representative on behalf of a nation or group.

The solution = "Indemocracy!" To create freedom from this really bad behaviour by creating a new world order on bad behaviour.

John you keep saying your brother is such a good Christian, why don't you copy him, and leave the Catholic Church? A good Christian would not tolerate sycretism. John Ankerberg and Ian Paisley has pointed that out, e.g.,
http://www.johnankerberg.org/Articles/archives-ap.htm
http://www.ianpaisley.org/tiara.asp
The largest Protestant denomination as a group, would agree with Ankerberg, he is a representative spokesman for them.

I have been watching the news and the Muslim world really has went ballistic over these pictures of the Profit Mohammad. Its frightening how offended they actually are regarding this, they are rioting in their own Countries, burning cars and killing non muslims.

They have been further outraged as an Italian MP said he would create T-Shirts and wear them, these people really are frightening.

James,

It is Benedict XVI who in the wrong, not I because Benedict XVI is totally off of his rocker. The Pope is not infallible. I totally deny that. Catholicism is not enirely corrupt. There are biblical doctrines of Catholicism. And if you can not recognize that then there is something wrong with you. Why can't you be a normal Protestant instead of an abnormal Protestant. I tell you one thing, my brother is a more truer Christian then any of you guys on here because my brother is more Christ like then you guys are because he recognizes that the RCC is a True Church because it beleves that Christ is God and believes in the Holy Trinity. My brother does not go around preaching hatred toward any church that believes that Christ is God and believes in the Holy Trinity.

"I think that Benedict XVI is totally off of his rocker for wanting to have anything to do with the Moslems."

You must remember; "the Pope is infallible." So either you are in the wrong here, or he is. Either way, this is an entirely corrupt religion.

No, definitely not persons Max - I said with prior warning - strictly an important site only. This hypothetical idea came from one of the US Senators. Sure it isn't a great option but if your cities start to dissapear in a mushroom cloud, well.... not my problem anyway. But thanks for the input!

No need to fear demons BTW. And there are millions of Jihadists already.

"I believe it should bomb Mecca"

You are truly insane and inciting the powers of demons to inspire Jihadists to multiply their numbers into the millions, which will further bring untold deaths of millions of further innocents who don't need to die in such ways.

You should be locked up or deported to the Alaskan icefields. First thing is you should be banned permanently from this site until the ice melts in Alaska.

The end must be near, as even so called Christians like you are multiplying everywhere wanting to bomb unjust targets and persons rather then dealing only with the guilty parties individually.

They are not paying the price already?

I don't agree with publishing the cartoons BTW - they are of poor quality for a start and secondly "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" = we wouldn't appreciate it if they ran cartoons mocking Christ (OK they do constantly mock Christians and Jews anyway).

But it served to show the west how unhinged they are as a whole. In fact I believe it is a demonic force behind the religion of Islam; only the devil could drive people to do much of the evil things they do.

The problem with bombing assorted sacred sites or doing other feel-good things, like drawing cartoons of the Prophet, is that it's Christians in Islamic countries who pay the price for it.

Quote "Since the Muslims continually spew hate, treason and revolution in our country they should be booted out-immediately!"

Probably true but what about the non-Moslems that do this also? (un)Reverend Fred Phelps for example....?

"I'd have taken that speech as a threat to our state security and have mobilized and sent them packing for the Mid East desert."

But what if they were born in NY and have no citizenship elsewhere? Gets more complicated then....

If the US recieves another 9/11 syle attack I believe it should bomb Mecca (with prior warning); this is one of the few (pagan) sites that all of the Islamic enemies of the west regardless of nationality hold dear & thus one of few viable and legitimate targets.

Here's the problem:
Since the U.S. accepts all religions(and freaks) the issue is when a certain religion breaks the law, ie. the Muslims(saying things like what they said above-isn't that hate speech??)
All faiths, regardless of what they believe, can't just do or say what they want. There are boundaries that all faiths must live within. Those boundaries are called laws. And as long as those laws are biblical we ALL, including you Muslims, must abide by them.
Since the Muslims continually spew hate, treason and revolution in our country they should be booted out-immediately! That reasoning is based on our laws that pertain to our national defense and security. In fact, that's what our U.S. Armed Forces are all about.
It's about time that our Armed Forces got out of Iraq and came back to our nation and clean out the Muslim infested rat's nests that abide in our own cities! I will volunteer again if our leaders decide that they actually want to protect OUR borders and OUR people.
It's a good thing, for the radical Muslim, that I'm not in charge of the NY state Nat'l guard. I'd have taken that speech as a threat to our state security and have mobilized and sent them packing for the Mid East desert.
Our pathetic homo/abortion loving leaders haven't got the guts...

Lem points out the difficulty well. The US (and the west in general for that matter) is effectively at war with Islam, not 'terrorism' which is merely one tactic of Islam. But Islam knows well how to exploit the freedoms in the west - such as freedom of religion which no true Moslem country has.

This is a problem for western lawmakers. These people are allowed to practise their religion and spread their evil through freedom of religion and speech and nothing can be done until the point they cross the line of commiting - or intending to commit - a crime. Often it is too late then.

As Stalin said "democracy is madness!"

One possibility is to classify Moslems as a special 'high risk group' and subject them to extra security scrutiny. Just as Homos are classed a high risk group for AIDS and STDs - there is a known and established connection between the Moslems and a propencity for violence.

Of course this is a poor option; this stuff isn't going to be sorted out till Jesus is supreme ruler here....
