Very helpful article examining Paul's approach to those at the Areopagus.
How much we need today to return to the Scriptural mandate and pattern in all things...and especially in this most vital matter of how to preach the Gospel to sinners.

“ Exposing Error - Exalting Christ! ”
Do we really believe Christ's word: "Ye are all brethren and one is your Master"?
It seems not!
Praise God for another man who has received the grace of humility to preach the Truth on this matter!
The greatest need in the churches today seems to be for men who are in office to humble themselves before God's Word and with trembling, stake their all upon The Person and work of the Lord Jesus, instead of labouring in their own strength to maintain some kind of institutional organisation which Christ has never set up, and which so demeans and obscures His and the Holy Spirit's offices.
Let's wake up, and smell the aroma of our altogether lovely Saviour, Christ Jesus The Lord, and believe Him, and His All-Sufficiency, and preach Him alone , to the glory of God the Father, lest it be said of our generation.. 'other lords and gods have had dominion over them'.

I am one of those poor who must also come to the Scripture without the aid of the wisdom and learning of men and find there all the instruction and guidance I need. But how much the more will Christ be thus exalted in the multitudes of the 'common people who heard Him gladly'

Thank you...
This is the best practical 'fleshing out'... of Romans 7 that I have heard yet...and you have more to come DV...!
This is so important because we will only discover real New Testament life...eg the nature of the life that Paul speaks of....
by understanding and receiving internally the principles of the New Covenant ..bought for us at such a cost!
As believers we must be able to understand and explain these things to others in order to fulfill the Great Commission... of making disciples...
I pray your message on this vital nub of the Gospel will light a flame in hearts that will spread to the glory of God!
It certainly is something worth getting excited about!
