“ Great Sermon! ”
Very Good message, glad this is being pointed out in our churches as a harmful avenue to pursue. As a registered nurse in a prominent teaching hospital I have seen full force of alternative medicine and also how it has evolved in christianity. I am unsure why the distrust in medical doctors, I am not sure if it is the cost, or just plain hype, but I seen alternative medicine used and defended by several Christians, all in the phrase "It works, so it must be okay" Also, thrilled that chiropractors were mentioned. Most will easily defend their place in the medical field, but are unaware that many are not recognized by the AMA, and actually do not have any medically background, thus why insurance buck at paying for their services. In many instances, they can be safe, but also harmful.
