Great Sermon! Other than " The Call " at the end it lays out God's Sovereignty clearly. |

Great Sermon! Excellent reminder ! A sermon of calming in a storm of calamity, I cannot grasp how people who claim to be Christian have fallen for the god of this world. This sermon separates reality from retoric. |

Great Sermon! One thing I want to point out is that the church is beyond help , our help, that is. I believe that He allows it to deteriorate to such a degree that when He revives it there is no doubt who get the credit. But thank you for reviving my hopes in God's ability, |

Answered questions For many, including myself, the question of assurance hangs over us. The answer appears to be the Holy Spirit and His interaction with our own spirit. Giving us the understanding and ability to grasp what is in the Bible. I know my faith is feeble in the best of times, and almost nonexistent most of the time. So it's good that God sustains me all of the time. |

Probably one of the most profound sermons I have heard in quite a while I gained so much understanding of the what and why of the fall through this sermon. In essence it appears the man's free will is what died that day. And like the Lord said, they gained the knowledge of good and evil. Of obedience and disobedience and it eventually cost them their lives. But wait! Redemption is coming! Thank you Lord. |

Great Sermon! 1689 LBCF
Chapter 26; OF THE CHRUCH
Paragraph 4. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Head of the church, in whom, by the appointment of the Father, all power for the calling, institution, order or government of the church, is invested in a supreme and sovereign manner; neither can the Pope of Rome in any sense be head thereof, but is that antichrist, that man of sin, and son of perdition, that exalts himself in the church against Christ, and all that is called God; whom the Lord shall destroy with the brightness of his coming. |

SteveR wrote: Sodomites hate Romans 1, and they spend lifetimes trying to validate their lusts. Anarchists also hate a Chapter in Romans, Romans 13. Romans 13 has never been in dispute, but the wicked fight it and bring damnation upon themselves Romans 13:2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation For centuries its always been understood to be the CIVIL magistrate. Its not just hardliners, here is what Methodist Adam Clarke says. "As God is the origin of power, and the supreme Governor of the universe, he delegates authority to whomsoever he will; and though in many cases the governor himself may not be of God, yet civil government is of him; ...no Christian is authorized to rebel against the civil power; he must bear the persecution, and, if needs be, seal the truth with his blood, and thus become a martyr of the Lord Jesus. This has been the invariable practice of the genuine Church of Christ. They committed their cause to him who judgeth righteously." No one could ever accuse you of using your brains, that's for sure, you graceless troll. |
