The main growth area will be in their bank accounts. As more and more people abandon this apostate denomination the PCUSA are able to sell lots and lots of prime real estate because the denomination owns the church's property, not the congregation.

How kind our liberal society is.
They say it is kind pretend that Children are 'young adults'.
They say it is kind to pretend that it is ok for Mummy and Daddy to both hold down full time jobs.
They say that it is kind to herd young infants into government sponsored day care concentration camps.
They say that it is kind to teach young children how to have 'safe' sex, how to make responsible choices in thier drug taking and in their drinking.
They say that anyone who disagrees with their 'kind' intentions for our children is a dangerous fundamentalist bigot and so they feel all the more justified to protect our children from us.

Never try to be kinder than God tells us to be in the Bible.

Surely you can only call a country a Christian country when the Christian faith is the primary guide to faith, thought and ethics? Even this definition is far to generous.

Keep preaching the gospel, keep acting as salt and light in culture, keep having lots of children, showing Christ's love and gratefully obeying God's law. Keep repenting, keep praying. When the Church does these things consistantly it grows and it can even grow to the extent that it becomes the dominant influence in a culture. It's happened in the past, and it could happen in the future, but it may take hundreds of years from where we are today.

Do you have the faith and vision to even imagine that this could be possible? Or have you given up on your faith, hope and duty and just expecting to get raptured out of here?

Have you seen a Muslim pray? They have to touch their head on the ground several times. Do this five times during the day, every day for 60 years and do it more zelously than everyone else and you're going to get some serious long term damage.

See the mark on the forehead of this nutter? Every time he prays he bangs his head on the ground as part of the Muslim ritual of prayer. I wonder if God will take brain dammage into consideration when this man stands before him in Judgement?

When the Federal Reserve finally goes bust, the dollar coin is going to be worth more than the dollar bill because at least the metal is worth something.

By the way, if you're in the UK, get a magnet and hold it over some copper 1 and 2 pence pieces . If you've got old ones, they obviously won't stick to the magnet, but if they are new ones they will. That's because the copper in the old coins are worth more in their weight as copper than they are as their face value. So, the Bank of England started making them out of steel, then coating them in copper.

My farourate genuine "global warming" headline:

"Scientists establish link between global warming and sun."

I wonder how much tax payer's money they stole to work that one out?

“ Good lecture ”
This should be called: "The Christian Foundation of America" The lecture gives a historical overview of how Christianity is the overwhelming influence in American History. Lively and interesting.

This is madness. How can you trust someone who swears on a "holy" book that says:

"Allah will not call you to account for your thoughtlessness in your oaths, but for the intention in your hearts; and He is Oft Forgiving, Most Forgiving."
Qur'an Surah 2 verse 225

This is a licence to lie under oath.

Most of what Luther, Calvin, Beza, Bullinger and the rest of the Reformers wrote was in Latin. It was the international language of the educated throughout Europe. So Latin is important for Protestants.

Another very important language for Protestants is Dutch. Kyper and Bavink's works were written in Dutch and there's a huge amount of excellent Dutch stuff that would help the English speaking church grow, if only it was translated.

God is at work in the third world today. Expect Him to raise up some outstanding Theologians that write in languages we've never heard of today.

Remember, they'll becomeing from every tribe and every tongue to praise Jesus!

I think its great that they're teaching evolution in the religion classes. It certianly doesn't belong in the science classes.

"Dr Savage says one of the problems is that churches are hierarchical systems, with all the attendant echoes of feudal society. Thus they elicit bad behaviour such as status seeking, fawning, bullying, passivity, blaming others and gossiping"

There's the Episcopalian problem for you. Poor old Anglicans, if they'd only embrased Presbyterianism, I'm sure none of this would have ever happened.

Great reasons to think about homeshooling:

The article goes on to say:
The American academic Cynthia Lightfoot suggests part of the answer may be connected with the fact that teenagers now spend much more time with each other than they do with adults.

"When kids are cut off from adult society they begin to affiliate with each other in ways that historically they did not," she says.

"With the advent of formal education, kids are more isolated from the adult world than they have been in the past. They also spend a lot more time with other kids.

"So this creates the conditions for the emergence of a youth culture or a peer culture.

"And as kids interact with one another, their group affiliation shifts from being primarily the family group to being the peer group."

On who's terms?
1. On Christ's terms as reveled only in the Bible,
2. On the mixed authority of "reason", the authority of the church, its tradition and its ever shifting interpretation of the Bible, or
3. On your own authority?

I am deeply concerned about how Muslims act. The only hope they have (and we have) is if vast numbers of them come to Christ as Lord and Saviour.

What I'm trying to say is that this is far more likely to happen if we show them love, respect and if we confidently interact with them with the view of presenting the gospel to them.

If we don't do this, we'll alienate them and they'll feel justified in murdering and bombing people that have such contempt for them.

Rom 12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

(PS, I know you're never likely to come out of the Roman Catholic church if us Protestants continue to act as pig-headed, ignorant brutes towards you. It would be a pity if our pride and arrogance was the excuse you used for rejecting Christ's salvation and the sole authority of His Word the Bible.)
