"who will be offered the protection of the Holy Father if they covert en masse"

That's a threat. What is the Pope offering protection from? Another St. Bartholomew's Day massacre?

The problem isn't too many mosques, the problem is too few Christians willing to get involved in or pay for Muslim Evangelism.

You said "God could very well have spoken the Universe into being in an instant, but is there a reason his story of creation takes 7 days? What is he teaching us?"

That's an easy one. If you knew your 10 commandments, you'd find the answer:

Ex. 20:8 -11 “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates. For in SIX DAYS the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

It still doesn't get round the problem of the character of of God. Given a choice between the God who created all things out of nothing, by the Word of His Power, over the space of 6 days a few thousand years ago, who created all things "Very Good", who created a world free from death pain and suffering, and a god who created things using Billions of years of death, pain, suffering, failure, extinction, which is the greater God? Which is more worthy of our worship, trust and adoration?

As for me and my house, we will follow the LORD.

Do you believe the god you worship used death, pain, suffering and triumph of the strong over the weak to create?

Does the god you worship condemn us for expoiting the weak, vulnerable and poor?

How can your god care about our suffering if he used suffering and death to create us?

Is your god a hypocrite?

So the Pope believes in a god who created life by using millions of years of death, pain, suffering, triumph of the strong over the weak, the elimination of the weakest and most vulnerable and then is hypocritical enough to condemn us for exploiting the weak, the poor and murdering the unborn child and the very sick and very elderly.

That is not the God of the Bible who made all things very good and there was no death, pain or suffering before the fall. That is the God worthy of our worship.

The Council of Carthage did not define the Cannon of Scripture, it recognised it. There is a HUGE difference.

It was what the Holy Spirit had already been blessing in the thousands of churches in dozens of Churchesfor over 300 years that was accepted.

They're right. There was a time when the whole of humanity spoke one language, then there was a very rapid change and people spoke in many languages. It happened at the Tower of Babel.

Well said Richard. Further research will reveal that 'fashion' rarely comes into vogue by chance and unsurprisingly many 'designer's' are sodomites. Models on the cat walk are often deliberately made to look silly with boys clothes, cropt hair and stick thin...like an imitation of a young boy. Such then becomes the latest high street fashion! If you want a sodomite to design your clothes then what would a lady expect? A Christian lady following fashion??

Effeminate hair styles, hand bags, male make up, and yes even skirts are the new vogue for English men who 'fashionably' look like gays dressed for clubing in the late 90's.

We have a christian school with the best educational results and behaviour. The kids are immaculate in uniform...girls in skirts.

Another school had one girl complain about having to wear a skirt. Her mother was the real objecting feminist University Liberal. The school had skirts as its' uniform since its inception over 100 years ago without one complaint. BUT Her human rights were that she could wear trousers! The school immediately changed it's uniform policy to save being sued! That is the result of feminism which is Humanism and ant-God. Conform to the world as WE SEE IT.

Don't lust the fashion of this world! (I John 2:15-17)

Prov. 8:36 But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; All those who hate me love death.”

God haters always end up hating the image of God displayed in all human life.

A good test would be to ask our own pastor for evidences of personal answered prayer, God still answers in surprising ways. If Pastor is struck dumb then we have a problem

"In its early days, Dallas Theological Seminary was in critical need of $10,000 to keep the work going. During a prayer meeting, renowned Bible teacher Harry Ironside, a lecturer at the school, prayed, "Lord, you own the cattle on a thousand hills. Please sell some of those cattle to help us meet this need." Shortly after the prayer meeting, a check for $10,000 arrived at the school, sent days earlier by a friend who had no idea of the urgent need or of Ironside's prayer. The man simply said the money came from the sale of some of his cattle!"

Good. It's about time we started sending Chimpanzies to jail for murder and canibalim. Or perhaps because Chimps often kill other chimps and eat them, perhaps we should say that when Humans do these things they are only following their natural instincts.
Perhaps Ms Goodal would like to reward murderers with a banana?

In our unbiblical and corrupt system of dealing with criminals we punish the victim twice. Take a theif for example. He steals from his law abiding victim and his victim looses his property which is never returned. If the thief is caught and prosecuted and sent to jail, the victim is then punished a second time as it is the tax paying citizen that has to pay for the thief to be kept in jail.

On the other hand, the Bible talks about the theif paying restitution. The theif is punished for theft by having to pay back his victim the full amount plus compensation.

Humanism uses force to make the criminal unproductive by incarcerating him.
The Bible would allow force to be used to make the criminal productive by forcing him to work if he was unwilling to pay his victim back.

Which do you think is better?

Poland is about the only country in Europe with a 'naturally' growing population (ie. one that is growing because Poles are having more than two children).

Everywhere else in Europe is committing demographic suicide and where there is growth it is because imigrants (usually Muslims) are having children.

Humanism is "The Anti-God Religion of Death" (Ken Ham) and so of course they love homosexuality and hate big families.

Why is is that Evangelical Protestants in Europe and the USA only have as many children as the average Humanist? Why do the Catholics and Muslims love children and the future more than we do?

Shame on us.

More from the article:

"This is true even if the killer identified the victim mistakenly as corrupt. In that case, the law requires “blood money” to be paid to the family. Every year in Iran, a senior cleric determines the amount of blood money required in such cases. This year it is $40,000 if the victim is a Muslim man, and half that for a Muslim woman or a non-Muslim."

Your 'evidence' can be interpreted through an evolutionary hypothesis but it can also be explained because the ape and the Human have a common desighner.

99% of the English vocabulary found in MacBeth is also found in the rest of Shakespeare's plays. Does this mean that MacBeth evolved from The Merchant of Venice? Would Shakespeare have had to write MacBeth in French to prove to us that MacBeth hadn't evolved from the Merchant of Venice? If he did, wouldn't we be more likely to believe that there was actually two Shakepeares; one French and the other English.
In the same way if God had chosen to use a radically different type of DNA for Humans than he used for Apes, wouldn't that end up suggesting that there were two creator Gods?

Num. 12:1 And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.

This was definately one "inter-racial" marriage God approved of. Perhaps the LORD will curse "expositor" with leprousy as He did Mirriam. I pray not.

The Pope dares not reject evolution outright because he wants the respect of the Scientific community because he believes that Science is a higher form of truth than Romish "Authority".

God expects the Scientific Community to bow the knee to the supreme authority of His Word the Bible. He also demands that the Pope should do like wise.
