Babylon has fallen, and that is the fault not only of the traitors in Washington but the traitors in the pulpits as so many areThe "church "has been so busy naming it and claiming it, and being tied up in their fleshly carriers mania while their government has sold them up the river and bought their silence and submission with 501(c) tax exemption.. I encourage everyone to get educated, and listen with an open mind because many of us have been fools. Check out Sam Adams pastor of independence Baptist church, he has some outstanding messages on that, very eye opening. It's time to the church to wake up and realize that the New World order is just about here, and the antichrist should be on the scene pretty soon.... If he's not here already. Don't dismiss me as a cook, ... Anytime you have consider a gift from the Lord to get educated the prepared to take a stand because the persecutions are coming, and they are going to come at us hard and suddenly! I can't say what the event will be, I think it's a good change there will be in nuclear attack on New York City, but when that event happens the stage is set for martial law and a takeover, a complete governmental / dictatorial takeover and thus the tribulation will begin. .... |

So the pastor of this church thinks that the church focuses "too much on sin"? I think a lot of the churches in America alone doesn't focus ENOUGH on sin! A majority of the churches teach nothing but a false gospel, the prosperity gospel to be exact which is no gospel at all. This false doctrine is about greed, selfishness, and filling up our pockets (and the pastor's as well) and our lives with lavish things. How dare this pastor say that church sucks and how dare he compromises, playing worldly music with content that is totally against what God's Word says. This pastor is suppose to "preach the Word in season and out of season" and to rebuke, correct, convince, and exhort with all longsuffering (2 Timothy 4:1-2). Why, O why are the majority of these churches, all for the sake of being relevant, try so hard to get people into their churches instead of staying true to preaching and teaching from God's Word? When the church tries so hard to look like the world it's a total embarrassment. God's Word says to not be conformed to this world, to not be like it and to not be molded by it's customs and attitude. Wake up and stop trying to be cool and relevant and just preach the gospel. This is God's church, not yours! |

Great Sermon! Twice I have tried to listen to this study and twice my mind has wandered astray. There must be something the devil does not want me to hear... |

Kyle wrote: Fair enough. I did change from "mass murder" to generic crime. I was irreverant, but I didn't attack you personally. Calling me "boy" was not ad hominem? So, that said, have we found a line? Carrying a gun in church in anticipation of a mass murder is over the line in your opinion, but is it ok to carry in church in anticipation of, say, a single murder? theft? assault? where is your line? Your calling me man was not ad hominem. It was simple rudeness, most easily addressed by illustration, which seems to have been effective. Your ad hominem was in the false accusation of "pretty naive" on dishonest grounds, but we have dealt with that.I have never felt the need to carry a gun to protect my family, despite many years attending inner city churches. I can understand why some might feel the need carry a gun in Baghdad and Tucson. However, I have only worshipped with Christian refugees from Baghdad, not Tucson. Have you considered moving? |
