Great Sermon! Hope the brother in the message is encouraged by this article:
The new creature in Christ is given a new heart and a new spirit, a new understanding to know and understand things never known nor understood before. The regenerate soul has a new heart that knows God, not as the God of nature and providence, but as the God of grace. The believer knows God in Christ the Mediator. He is made to know the love of God in Christ, the covenant of grace and the blessings of it, that were given to him in Christ before the world was created. Moreover, in the new man are new ears to hear the good Shepherd’s voice. They have them from the Lord, and blessed are they (Revelation 2:11; Deuteronomy 29:4; Proverbs 20:12; Matthew 13:16, 17). They hear the Word in a manner they never heard before; they so hear it as to understand it and receive
the love of it. Now we are able to distinguish the voice of Christ from the voice of a stranger. We know the joyful sound of the gospel, and rejoice to hear it. - D. Fortner |

Righteousness: Is a Person! The sermon topic on righteousness directed me thoughts to 1 Co 1:30: But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification and redemption”, which is all our salvation, which mad me think on these words: “ God hath from the beginning chosen (us, the world of God's elect) to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth” (2 Thessalonians 2:13), which made me think of Galatians 3:27: which does not say we put on the righteous garment of Christ, but only says we have put on Christ. WOW! And, in the garden, God came and called Adam and then, “the Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed the them (He put on each of them the skin tunic representing the righteousness of His Son, which reminds me of Luke 15:22: “the father said to his servants, 'Bring forth the best robe, and out it on him'.” and Romans 3:22: “Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe”. God has caused me, through life in His Son, by grace to believe Him and on His Son for all my righteousness. |

Great Gospel Sermon! Permit me to share this article: Looking upon my own heart, in the light of God's Word, I am thoroughly convinced of my own depravity, quilt and sin before God & I deserve His infinite wrath. His Spirit has thoroughly convinced me of His righteousness, infinitely meritorious & sufficient to give all who trust Him eternal, immutable acceptance with God His Father. The Lord Jesus Christ has brought in an everlasting righteousness by his obedience to God as the sinners' Substitute. Looking upon Christ's conquest over satan by his death upon the cursed tree, I am thoroughly convinced of judgment; judgment is over for His people. This conviction of judgment is threefold.
1.GOD WILL JUDGE ALL SIN
2.GOD'S JUDGMENT OF MEN FOR SIN IS JUST.
3.HOWEVER, FOR GOD'S ELECT JUDGMENT IS OVER!
If you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, you have nothing to fear from God, His law, or His justice. Your sins are forever forgiven. Looking upon that Man in heaven who is God, who once was made to be sin for sinful man & is now freed from sin. You have been made perfectly righteous in Christ. You are complete in Him. - D. Great Gospel Sermon! Our brother Clay has preached a blessed message here. This reminds me of an article by our brother Don: the Lord God tells us four things about our dear Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, as his Servant. — These things were written by God’s prophet Isaiah more than 750 years before the incarnation of our Redeemer!
1. He will bring righteousness to the Gentiles (v. 1).
2. He will be a meek, voluntary Servant to the will of God (v. 2).
3. He will be a tender, compassionate Savior (v. 3).
4. He will effectually accomplish all his work (v. 4).
The Lord Jesus Christ is an appointed Savior, a qualified Savior, a willing Savoir, and an able, effectual, almighty Savior. — “He shall not fail!” That revelation is enough to flood our hearts with joy, praise, thanksgiving, and adoration. — What a great Savior our Savior is! |

Great Gospel Sermon! Thank you brother Marvin for preaching, from the text, one more time How the Love of God, in Christ Jesus, for His people called, reserved and sanctified the Bride of His Dear Son. "When I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live", and the Lord "when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth". That's it! And, we live. |
