Don Ritsman was born in Paterson, New Jersey. He received Christ at a very early age, and sensed a call to the ministry when he was only ten years old. After graduating from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, he went to Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, where he earned a Master of Divinity degree. After graduating from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, he went to Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, where he earned a Master of Divinity degree. From 1973-1980 he worked in church planting ministries in the Philadelphia area, and took a brief missionary trip to Korea in 1976. In 1980 he received a Masters of Theology degree also from Westminster Seminary. From 1980 to 1998 he served as pastor in South Dakota and Wisconsin. Since 1999, he has been involved in foreign missions. At present, Don spends part of the year in Seoul, South Korea, helping prepare Christians for international ministries. When not in Seoul, Don lives in Wisconsin with his wife, Edie, and ministers as a teacher on the pastoral staff of Bethel Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Oostburg. He also constructs Bible courses for the on-line ministry of Miami International Seminary. Don and Edie have two grown children, Mark and Matthew. | more | less
