There are some times in the life of a Christian; very special times they are; when Christ seems to draw very near to your soul and whispers to your heart, “Come with me from Lebanon, my spouse, with me from Lebanon.” “Look from the top of Amana, from the top of Senir and Hermon, from the lion's dens, and from the mountains of the leopards.” It is this look from the top that we want to speak of this afternoon. So this afternoon I would like to have you think about the 3 invitations which Christ makes to His Bride, the Church, here in these verses. First – The invitation to come with Him from Lebanon. Second – To look from the tops of Amana and the other mountains. And thirdly – To look from the lion's dens and leopard's mountains.
