Aim: To be refreshed and renewed in the gospel of Jesus' blood and righteousness.
Exegesis: Passover (The Lord's Supper) points to Christ's atonement of His church. He redeemed us from sin (v. 1), he substituted for us sinners (v. 2), and he sanctified our suffering (vv. 3-4). Passover points to Christ's love for His church by showing us Christ (vv. 5-6), by feeding us Christ (v. 7), and by delighting us in Christ (v. 8).
Key verse: v. 1 ''Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover to the LORD your God, for in the month of Abib the LORD your God brought you out of Egypt by night.''
