The heavens are opened, again. The first time was for John to be taken up (4:1), this time it is for Jesus to lead His armies down. The portrayal of Jesus has moved from the Lamb who looked as if it had been slain, to the Warrior King on a white horse, leading His armies, to take possession of that which belongs to Him; all of creation.
He will prove Himself to be faithful and true. He is true to His promises of salvation for those who believe on Him. He will show Himself to be true to His promises to bring justice to the wicked.
