Jesus has given us the means and the authority to offer others, through the gospel, what we have received and what they need too: a meaning that suffering can't take away; a satisfaction not based on circumstances; a true identity that you can never lose; a real relief from shame and guilt; and a present and future hope that can enable you to face anything with poise, even death! If faith does not pervade all compartments of our lives, we may dim that light.
