This sermon proposes that Christians are to keep the feast continually. The feast of Passover has a vivid emphasis on being passed over relative to judgment. There is more also. Eating the roasted lamb was also part of the typeology. Edershien says, "...it was to be roasted and served whole--complete without a break or division, not a bone of it being broken, just as not even a bone was broken of Him who died for us on the cross. And this undividedness of the lamb pointed not only to the entire surrender of the Lord jesus, but also to our undivided union with Him." In other words Christians are really spiritually wealthy; "all things are yours" "...that we might know the things freely given to us of God" .... Grace and holiness are contemporaneous principles. Separation is stressed as well as enrichment.
