The parable of the wheat and tares is very instructive for many reasons. The Lord's interpretation of the parable is a boon because it it is not left up to the reader to understand what is here being taught. There is no hint of a millennium in it. The harvest is at the end of the world and, contrary to Pretribulation teaching, it is the wicked who are first removed, not the Church. In addition, the wicked and the righteous grow together until the harvest time. There is no long interval between the resurrection of the Righteous and the Wicked.
