This morning, we are going to get a glimpse of the fact that all mankind will be held accountable. Hebrews 4:13 reminds us, "Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do." God has seen everything and will hold man accountable. Jesus gave us details concerning the judgement saying in Matthew 12:36, "But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment." Every idle or careless word will be weighed in the balance and evaluated whether it was said for God's glory or not. God is holy which means He is set apart from sin. Also, He is righteous, just, and true. Therefore, all sin must be punished. There are only two options for dealing with your sin. You can stand before God and bear the responsibility for your sin or You can repent of your sins and believe the gospel about Jesus Christ. In the first case, you will bear the wrath of God. In the second case, you can be forgiven through the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. The title will be "The Last Judgement." Abraham's words in Genesis 18:25 will ring true once and for all. He asked, "Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?" The Just Judge of humanity has one final verdict for sinners who are not covered by the blood.
