Tonight we will finish the series on thirsting. With all that is happening in the world these past weeks, I feel that it is imperative that we lift our eyes up to heaven rather than listening to the media and focusing totally on "the virus." We are told that Jesus, "for the joy that was set before Him, endured the cross and despised the shame." In the same verse we are told to keep our eyes on Jesus. My prayer tonight is that we will truly love Him (with everything we have), and will truly thirst to have Him communicate with us through His word. As many of us are quarantined in part, what better time could there be than now to seek our Lord and get to know Him? That day when the sun darkens and the moon does not give its light is drawing close. Are you excited? God bless you as you listen.
