The Saturday evening lecture in the 2014 James Montgomery Boice Lectures, presented by the George Whitefield Society of Oklahoma City and hosted by Heritage Presbyterian Church.
Pastor Philip De Courcy was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, to Christian parents who loved the Lord. In 1978, at sixteen years old, he trusted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. After beginning his primary career as an engineer in the aircraft industry, he sensed God's calling to enter the Irish Baptist College for training in ministry. He later enrolled in the Master's Seminary in Santa Clarita, California for further preparation for ministry. While attending college, he met his wife, June. They were married in Scotland in 1987 and have three daughters. After shepherding churches in southern California and central Ohio, in 2007 he relocated his family to Anaheim Hills, California, to begin his ministry as senior pastor at Kindred Community Church. His daily radio broadcast, "Know the Truth", was launched on March 15, 2010. |
