In the last paragraph of John 2, we found ourselves confronted by a group of people who had faulty faith. Although they believed in Him, Jesus did not commit Himself to them. John closed his account by reminding us that the Lord doesn't need anyone to tell Him about people because He already knows what is in people. He knows their hearts.
