David cried out asking God why He was silent and why He had forsaken him. It's okay to express our deepest concerns to the Lord when He appears to be silent or unresponding.

Great Sermon! LARRY, I FEEL THAT THIS SERMON WAS DONE SPECIFICALLY FOR ME. IN THE PAST SIX YEARS, I HAVE GONE THROUGH THREE SERIOUS BOUTS OF SEVERE DEPRESSION THAT LEFT ME BARREN, UNABLE TO FIND GOD, UNABLE TO FUNCTION AND IN TERRIBLE BODILY PAIN. AT ONE PERIOD, I LAID ON THE COUCH FOR EIGHT DAYS AND WANTED TO DIE. I PLEADED FOR GOD TO MAKE HIS PRESENCE KNOWN TO ME. I SAT WITH SEVERE STOMACH PAIN AND FORCED MYSELF TO READ THE PSALMS, THE PSALMS OF DAVID, SOME OF WHICH YOU READ IN THIS SERMON. IN DAVID'S INSPIRED WORDS COULD I LET THE TEARS FLOW, COULD I FIND MAYBE AN OUNCE OF COMFORT TO GET ME THROUGH THE DAY. I DON'T KNOW WHY THESE TIMES HAPPENED TO ME AND I WOULDN'T WISH THIS TYPE OF DEPRESSION ON ANYONE BUT GOD ALWAYS BROUGHT ME THROUGH AND THE WISER FOR IT. NOT ONE MORNING WORSHIP GOES BY THAT I DON'T THANK THE LORD FOR A SOUND MIND AND THE ABILITY TO FEEL HIS PRESENCE. I PRAY THIS SERMON OF YOURS WILL REACH SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN OR IS IN MY POSITION AND GIVE THEM COMFORT TO KNOW THAT GOD IS STILL THERE IN THE MOUNTAIN TOP EXPERIENCE AND IN THE VALLEY. THANK YOU.
