But Paul longs for the transformation of the earthly body into a heavenly body. Though believers do not yet have the heavenly body, God has given the down payment of the Holy Spirit. Though a believer's life may be one of toil, we do not need to lose hope because Christ is our pledge in heaven of this heavenly body.
