It is nice to see our numbers coming back up after the big holiday season. We thank God for the opportunity to have a part in pointing people to the Savior.

We had a good turnout for our Valentines banquet last Thursday. We planned for around 30, had seats at the tables for 32. As it turned out, every seat was filled and then some, and when everybody had gotten a plate, Becky picked the last piece of meat out of the pot and scraped the last of the mashed potatoes out for me! Our young people helped serve, and the game for married couples was good for several laughs.

This morning we had a good crowd out, and pray that the Holy Spirit will take the message and change people's thinking, making them true disciples. Unfortunately, there is a deep seated perception of God as a servant to meet our needs in this life. This has been propagated by false religion and unfortunately, I think, the Charimatics and the humanitarian aid emphasis of many Christian organizations.

Erdenebayar's wife seems to be softening some. I pray that God would break her and bring her to true repentance. Another family that we met a while ago and used to go to church in the small town they lived in needs prayer also. They were very involved in that church but since coming to the city a couple of years ago have not been in church. They came once or twice then we didn't see them for a while. I went to visit them yesterday and found out that the husband went to work last Tuesday and hasn't been home since. He is with "friends" and drinking. He has been at work though, and I plan tenatively to go to his work Tuesday and see if I can get him home. I would appreciate your prayers for this family.

We are still working on the registration and tax problem. We look forward to what next week holds, and keep praying for God to bring the showers of blessing. We appreciate your prayers as we pray and work to see that happen.
