Dear brothers and sisters, greetings in the name of King Jesus.

I am writing to you because the Church - on the whole - seems to be in very much the same place it was 2 years ago. I said in April of 2020 that it was my conviction that the Church had let the Lord down. I said then (and still believe now) that “Like Peter we have made big promises, but in a moment of trial we have in this way denied Him.” I was deeply concerned about the state of the Church when I wrote those words. But 2 years later the situation appears far worse. I say that because after 2 years of state intrusion into the worship of Christ’s Church, the Church remains largely unrepentant.

As restrictions on worship are lifted churches are beginning to return to something like the ‘normal’ of pre-covid days; but very few pastors or elders have publicly repented of what they have done both to Christ and His bride.
