Hey Sermon Audio, I have a question: Are you planning on adding posters histories onto the android app? It would be really good if you did! |

JayJay writes: Jim Lincoln writes: Anyway, I'm glad Frankie mentioned Baby-face Bush. Can you be more respectful to people? We can disagree with people without trashing them, or making fun of names! Why don't you try to be more respectful to these people, even if you disagree with them! Very well spoken JayJay! |

Yes, that was what I meant: what you said! I wasn't trying to say that doctrinal creeds don't have their place or purpose, just that sometimes we elevate them to highly and criticize people over their unimportant doctrinal differences rather than where they fall under God's word, like the belly buttoners vs the non-belly buttoners, or the pre-tribers vs the post tribers! That's what I was trying to say, sorry if it came out wrong! |

John UK from Wales writes:PursuitofTruth wrote: We're aren't enemies... PoT, you are being too simplistic. One post from "servant from us", and you are agreeing with him without knowing who he is or what he stands for. He could be a Christadelphian for all you know. Unity HAS to be around doctrine, not woolly lovey-dovey ecumenist style hugs and kisses. There are plenty sneaking about these threads who are NOT born again. The BIG questions, as always, is: "How can a man be right with God?" This is what separates the wheat and the chaff. In the quote you quoted, I was saying that we here on this forum are not enemies, but brothers in Christ! I wasn't saying that I fully agreed with Servant from US, I was saying that I agreed with that post in particular since he was uniting with me for a united church! I don't know who he is, or where he comes from, but as long as he truly loves and worships the ONE true God like you and I, then I don't think it's neccessary to squable over doctrinal statements! I don't even know if you and I fall under the same doctrinal creed for that matter! But we can both unite on the things that really matter, cause we both love and honor God! |

servant from us writes: I am of peter, i am of paul. please people! let us rely on the holy spirit to draw us closer to christ and the father, not the traditions of man Yes, a very good post Servant from US! Let's stop with this division and naysaying, and let's unite on the things that are true, and that we can all agree on! No more of this badmouthing Calvanists, or bad mouthing Armenians! If somebody foolishly attacks us in this way, we can defend our beliefs, but let's not be the agressors! Let's be the ones who will come together in times of trouble or need, not tear eachother up! The Bible says to love even our enemies! We're aren't enemies, so how much more should we love eachother! |

Thanks John UK! Dear Troll Spotter, I do not worship Calvin, I just believe that he had a mostly correct interpretation of Scripture. No man is perfect, and I do not bow down to any man, but rather to God! And btw, I do not consider people challenging eachothers views as tearing eachother apart! What I do consider tearing eachother apart, is when people say other people are heretics simply because they don't fall under the same creed. There are true heretics, but many of the people called heretics on this forum are not called that because they don't worship God, but because they don't worship that persons doctrinal creed! Let's all get beyond this silliness, and unite on what we can agree on! A divided church will not be able to make much lasting change in culture, because they are all to busy fighting over Calvanism verses Armenianism, or Presbyterian verses Baptist! I've been guilty of this in the past, but we cannot fall for this trap! Don't fight eachother over trivial matters! It's okay to disagree! Unite on what we can agree on! Sorry for making this post so long, but this is something I'm passionate about! |
